Hiseeme Weighted Blanket (60''x80'', 20lbs, Starry Star) with Removable Minky Duvet Cover for Adult, Women

We purchased two of these; one for my son and one for me! We are both on the Autism Spectrum and both feel like we have benefited tons from the blankets.My son used to take a VERY long time to get to sleep. Once we did our bedtime routine, he would get back up and play for another hour+ before he could finally settle down and get to sleep - which was making him more cranky and tired in the mornings. The first night we put this blanket on him, he was asleep almost immediately. Then, in the morning, he was in a great mood and told us be LOVED his blanket. It also helps him calm his body down when he's anxious or upset, so he's better able to express himself.For me, I was struggling with anxiety and my mind not wanting to calm down in order for me to be able to fall asleep. I was also not sleeping very deeply, so I was woken up easily by my partner. With the weighted blanket, I'm able to get to sleep faster and have consistently had deeper sleep, so I'm not waking up in the middle of the night all the time. The only problem is that I don't want to get out from under it in the morning! :)These blankets are an AMAZING price for the quality of what you get. I had been saving up because most of the high quality blankets with a removable and washable cover run twice as much as these - or more! So I was a bit dubious when I found these at this price, but I'm incredibly glad we took the gamble.

As soon as my youngest son was old enough to walk, he struggled to fall asleep at night no matter how wore out he was. He would wake up 1-3 times a night also. Being diagnosed with Asperger’s too, he does struggle with sensory issues as well as an extremely emotional temperment. I’ve debated for years on getting him a weighted blanket! He’s a very warm sleeper too so I was afraid the extra weight would make him even more sweaty. My Aunt got this blanket for her Granddaughter and couldn’t believe how well it worked for her and also how it wasn’t super hot! That sold me on the blanket idea and I couldn’t be happier. He’s sleeping more soundly now (at 9 years old) and can use the blanket to help calm himself when he gets emotional. I will be getting him another one for sure when the day comes that he gets too tall for this one!

My blanket (7lb size) only came with 4 ties, one on each corner. There was no way they would hold the weighted insert in place, so I added 10 more: 2 on each end and 3 on each side. For what I paid I would really rather not have to spend that kind of time with a sewing needle to make the item useable. But, my son loves the colors and material. And it helps him sleep.Also, it weighs 7.8 lbs, a little heavier than advertised, but fine. it has batting in the quilted weighted layer. It’s soft, it’s pretty, it appears well made (other than the ties) and it has no odor.We’re keeping it, but when I get around to buying a blanket for myself I think I will look elsewhere.

Received the weighted blanket in quick fashion and the price point was a great deal. The blanket easily ties to 6 straps hidden on the inside of the cover. The cover is minky and one would assume this would make the blanket too warm for summer but it is actually quite cool. Great and quality product. We will definitely be purchasing another one from this company for my father with Alzheimer's in the near future.

My daughter has ADHD and we have had an extremely hard time getting her to stay in her bed at night. We've tried behavioral psychology, nightlights, sitting with her until she fell asleep, etc. She would get up three and four times a night, sometimes five..all during the night, EVERY night. Since we've received this blanket, she has slept in her bed all night! Not even getting up once!! It's a true God send! And, she loves the cute duvet cover! It's made of quality material and just the right size for her twin bed. So glad we found this product! I highly recommend it!!!

Ordered 2 for my grandsons. I slept under one last night just to see how it made me feel and I got the best deep sleep of my life. Very good quality and I'm hopeful it will hold up for many years. I'm ordering one for myself from this company. No need to pay 300.00 for an adult blanket because this one you can lay across your body and it will do fine.

Purchased this weighted blanket for my 14 year old son with Autism. He was leery at first but LOVES this blanket & asks to be covered with it every night. His "typically" sister has even asked for one!The weight is nicely distributed & the duvet cover is probably the softest thing I've ever felt.It was a bit of a challenge getting the duvet cover over the blanket. It also took me a little time to realize there were ties on each of the corners & sides to hold the blanket in place. Honestly, that's the ONLY negative thing I can say about this blanket & since you've read this review, you won't have the struggle I did!!

I have been wanting to try a weighted blanket for awhile and didn’t want to spend hundreds of dollars. I tried a twenty pound one at first that had a cooling blanket cover. The cover was really nice but the blanket was way too big and cumbersome for me. So then I went to this one. I like the cover. It’s very cute. And I like the size and weight of the blanket. The only thing I don’t like is that it makes me very hot. And I sweat with it on at night. I wish that it had a cooling cover. My son likes this blanket too and uses it sometimes.
