FlyFix Fruit Fly Trap with Included Magnetic Clip (2, Blue/White)

These are absolutely fantastic! We tried fly strips, yellow sticky papers, Electric zapper’s, and even bowls with apple cider vinegar around the house. I have birds and have been feeding them fresh fruit and we had a infestation of fruit flies. I was going crazy. Even cleared out the room and did a bug bomb. The Apple cider vinegar bowls worked the best but they dried out and spilled so I got this product, And within two days of setting them up the little traps I bought have fruit flies in them and we are not getting divebombed while watching TV. I bought eight of these I put half with slices of banana and the other half with apple cider vinegar they both work equally well. Would definitely buy these again. No more fruit fly problem is and no more spills.

One fly got in and laid a bunch of eggs apparently because I looked in one day and it was full of maggots. I have two of them and used fruit in one and vinegar in the other. The fruit one got a single, apparently pregnant fly. That is the only thing I have caught. It seems the flies either can't get in or don't want to. I wouldn't recommend this product. Great concept but doesn't deliver the goods.

Found this product to be effective when we used actual fruit - a banana although it takes about three days for the banana to be ripe enough to entice the bugs. Be sure to put liquid (we used apple cider vinegar) in though along with the fruit so the bugs die quickly. This combines both looks and it actually works well. I would buy this product again.

I would suggest using Balsamic vinegar , you can get the above at Wallyworld. I made a few homemade ones of my own, and this unit works good.

Not 100% reliable. It worked occasionally, but not all the time. I don't think I have enough flys or I'm not in the right climate/temperature. . Based on my experience so far, I wouldn't recommend, It might work better for someone in a different location-

I got this as a solution for my horrible fruit fly problem. I was making my own traps but they were something I had to tend to every single day. I love this because I dont just have to limit myself to one thing as bait. I can secure it safely in the bottom of the bird cage and since its beneath the grate the flies can get to it but my birds cant! I love that I can set it up and leave it without a worry. I love that its reusable and I can CLEAN IT without having to ruin it.Thank you so much for this product.

Don't waste your money, this doesn't work.

Had a slight fruit fly problem which was resolved in no time. Great product works really well.
