The first one I just loved so I bought a second one
I have 2 of these pans. The first one I just loved so I bought a second one. The second one has a black residue that shows up when I rub the pan with oil or food or etc. I have no idea what this black is. For example when I first used it, I rubbed it with oil and had to wipe it off several times with a paper towel to get all the black off. It's very very bizarre. I have used the pan several more times and each time I rub it with oil and a paper towel to try to get the residue completely wiped off. It's so odd, I'm not going to use it anymore and will try to return it. The first pan doesn't do this nor does any of my pampered chef.

Worker fine until it broke 8 months later
I bought this for my wife's birthday because another popular brand she had for many years ended up cracking after rough usage (darn kids broke it). I had read that this popular brand was having some quality issues with their latest products, so I went with the Haeger. It was given to her in November and it is now July and it has cracked, and not due to rough handling. We have had stoneware for years and know how to maintain it it.Cannot recommend this product.

Pleasantly surprised!
Like everybody, I'm trying to get back to natural things for cooking. I was very apprehensive about this stone baking sheet due to worries about breakage and cleaning difficulties. It just LOOKS like it would break and get food stuck!However, I trusted the good reviews, and I'm so glad I did! I've used this about 30 times, and at first I was SOOOO careful, thinking it would shatter at anything. But it's been very sturdy! Also, I let water sit in it for a minute or so, and food just lifts off with a dishrag. Truly, I wouldn't have believed it until I did it.Only thing I don't like is the weight--it's not as heavy as cast iron, but it is heavy enough to necessitate 2 hands (although sometimes I get away with one hand at the midpoint)...depends how heavy the food is in addition to the pan. But hey, it's earthware, so what do you expect!Overall, I highly recommend this for those trying to clean up the toxins in their kitchens.

It just keeps cracking..
Loved this pan for the first 5 months. Husband and I cooked pretty much everything on it, and the pan was seasoning well. Then a corner cracked off in the oven.We kept using the bigger piece since we didn't have money to buy a new pan. Then the opposite corner cracked off while cooking. Again, we kept using the main portion and just handled it carefully. It has since cracked straight down the middle.My mom's Pampered Chef has lasted for almost 20 years. Needless to say, I'm switching brands.

Great quality if you treat it right
I've been very pleased with the quality and baking efficiency of this stoneware. I already knew to avoid setting onto any surface of water, or avoid dripping or running water over it while it's hot, because that type of treatment would most most likely cause a crack. For years, I've been using other stoneware like it, too, from another manufacturer, which I like, and this one by Haeger seems to be of the same great quality and long-lasting.

I am in love! This thing is worth every penny and I will be buying more from this company. I especially love the USA stamp on the bottom. My friend is very familiar with pampered chef and said this one was much thicker.

Naturally Great
I wanted to use this a few times before reviewing and I am glad I did! As always, Amazon delivered quickly and effortlessly (sometimes a little too easy to order!!). The sheet is a great size and solid. I love that it is natural stone, chemical free, naturally non-stick (like seasoned cast iron) and made in America. The only drawback is that to benefit from the even cooking, you need to cook for 15 minutes or greater. I saw how this impacted when i made homemade pizza. First time, cooked at a higher temp for about 12 minutes. The dough did n't get the crustiness that we wanted. Next time, i cooked longer at a lower temp - beautiful, crispy crust.

Broke quickly
Was hoping to love this. After baking in the oven at 350 four or five times I just heard a large crack and it broke in half. I would NOT suggest purchasing this unless you plan to barely heat it. It is also extremely heavy.
