This is a versatile car charger designed for people who have multiple devices and limited time in daily lives. This gadget will charge two of your devices simultaneously. The charger provides USB-C Power Delivery (PD) functionality where you can FAST-CHARGE PDAs requiring different voltages such 15V for Ipad pro and 20 Volts for laptops even when it is in use. It also has QC functionality so you can charge devices of other voltages from 5V to 20V. It also provides conventional charging voltage of 5V. This car charger has USB-C port and USB-A port so it provides versatility. USB Type C PD 2.0/QC 3.0 provides 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 15V/3A, 20V/2A (45W Max); USB-A output (QC 3.0) - 3.6-6.5V/3A, 6.5-9/2A, 9-12/1.5A (18W Max). The over-power, over-current and short-circuit protections keep your devices safe.

Just Right... and Use the Right Cables!
2018 Aug 9 Update: NextGadget replied promptly and courteously. They find my "must be awake to start charging" observation puzzling, suspect it may be my specific tablet, and even so invited me to return the product for a refund. I'll simply keep the product as I don't mind the workaround (see next) and appreciate the response.2018 Aug 8 Update: Oops... wrote too soon. My USB-C tablet will only start charging from this adapter if "awake" (including "screen blanked"). If asleep or hibernated, it will not start charging until awakened. No such oddity with another third-party (AC, not car) adapter, so cutting from 5 to 3 stars and contacting seller to request information. Workaround: Wake USB-C tablet to start charging, then put to sleep or hibernate (charging continues just fine). The NextGadget AC-63 (model EL-IP4-C30) is just right for simultaneously charging a USB-C PD ("power delivery") notebook or large tablet computer (up to 45 W) and a phone or power bank (Qualcomm Quick Charge 3, backward compatible with Quick Charge 2, up to 18 W) while getting where you're going. Unlike some multiport chargers, it can deliver full power from all ports simultaneously: 63 W total. The charger fits smoothly yet snugly in "cigarette lighter style" accessory power receptacles. Even a "hidden" outlet at one side within a compartment of my car's center console allows plenty of room for the 3.1 cm (1.22") diameter "outlets end" of this adapter (YMMV). Heating of the adapter has not seemed excessive, though on a cold day it might briefly serve as a hand warmer after use. The blue LED "power on" light is daytime-visible (unsure about direct sunlight, though) , yet sufficiently obstructed (very small opening) that it's unlikely to be bothersome at night.<strike> Here's a translation of my 5-star "Love it" rating: If I need another such device, I'll almost certainly just attempt to buy another of these without further shopping. Why waste time? </strike> And now, the BIG HINT. HINT!!! HINT!!! HINT!!! USE THE RIGHT CABLES!!! USB-C PD: To get anything more than 15 W (5 V @ 3 A) through a USB-C cable, you MUST use an "electronically marked cable assembly" (EMCA)! That is, you must use a USB-C PD ("power delivery") cable, _not_ a "plain USB-C" cable. Further, the cable must be rated _suitably_ _for_ your intended load! If you just grab some random cable having USB-C connectors and try to charge your USB-C PD notebook or large tablet computer, you're begging for disappointment. If the cable you grabbed is "plain" USB-C, you'll get either _no_ charging (most likely) or maybe _dismally_ slow charging (of "more tolerant" devices, if such exist). If the cable is USB-C PD but rated for less power than your device wants (USB-C PD extends up to 100 W: 20 V @ 5 A), negotiation among devices will determine what, if anything, happens; full-speed charging _won't_ be the outcome. Quick Charge 3: Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3 allows for larger voltages and currents than the 5 V @ 500 mA of early USB devices. So, once again, not just any old USB cable will do. You want a cable rated for at least the maximum current your device may use while charging. So, get the right cables and enjoy good charging performance!

Handy Car Charger To Charge Your Laptop and Phone
Packaging & Hardware (5/5)63W Car Charger comes in a simple and neat packaging. The box contains the car charger which is about 2.75 inches long and 1.25 inches at its widest. It is very compact, with good build quality and black with chrome finish design. The charger has 2 ports which are well spaced and flush with the surface thus I had no problems plugging into either of the ports including plugging in both simultaneously.Usage & Testing (4/5)Car ChargerThe charger plugs in and fits nicely and doesn’t easily get pulled out even if you tug a little on the cable. It does rotate in the port when plugged-in (like most car chargers) without losing the connection, thus having a little flexibility in connections. When plugged-in, a blue light on outer edge of the chargers indicating that it is ready for use. This light is not too bright but noticeable enough that you can see it easily enough. In darker conditions, it looks brighter but still is not too distractive. The car charger can charge any device that you can plug in using the USB-A port. So, it can charge iPhone, iPad, Android phones, Android tablets using the USB port at an output of up to 18W at the best output your device can support. The exact voltage/current outputs are present in the product description. As for the USB-C port, the car charger can output 45W with support for Macbook voltage(15V/3A) and windows laptop (20V/2.5A). I was able to charge my laptop (XPS 13 9350), which needs 45W to be charged, without any issues. I plugged in my Google Pixel phone and it was able to rapidly charge using both the USB-A and USB-C port. I was able to charge my laptop and phone (rapidly too) simultaneously too thus the product looks to be functioning as advertised.Overall (4/5)A well-built car charger that works as advertised with which you can charge two devices at once including your laptop if it supports USB-C charging..

Not really a "Super Fast" car charger.
It works fine for fast charging, and can charge a Nintendo Switch, but it DOES NOT super fast charge, or fast charge 2.0. Not on a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G. Be aware, if this is what you're buying it for. Not sending it back, since it does have a usb 3.0 outlet, and my wife cna use that for her iPhone, but it is not what I had hoped.

Perfect for work on the go
What can I say about a car charger? It works, charges quickly and has the option to charge both my phone and MacBookPro when I'm on the go.

Buy something else
Good when it works. First one was DOA. Got a replacement, that one lasted about 1 month and now it only charges at a trickle. Waste of money.
