Starbucks Verismo Pods 96 Count (Espresso)

I bought these pods by accident. I thought they would fit the other type of pod coffee maker. I wanted espresso because I really missed it. So I get these tiny pods that remind me of a two bite piece of chocolate and there was no way they were going to fit my machine. So I was going to return them. Well time went by and that didn't happen. I made my husband buy the verismo esspresso maker, with the 20% of course, figuring I would return it when the pods that I was to lazy to return ran out. Well! Let me just tell you there is no way this verismo is going back. No way buddy! From the first whiff of that delicious thick foamy brew I was hooked. Sold. Done deal. Just try and pry it from my cold dead hands. I used my frother and just made myself some liquid heaven in a to-go-mug. So buying these silly little pods by accident lead me to one of the best mistakes ever. Ok so the machine is a bit loud but seriously so what. Oh and the verismo pods are on the list for when the kids ask me what I want for Xmas other than the usual slippers or candle set.

We love Starbucks Espresso Roast. We do not like the coffee containers made in Europe, which can randomly explode, sending the grinds into your coffee cup and hither and yon. We can't get an answer from Starbucks (even sending pictures!). If this were fixed, I give Starbucks Espresso 5, but at about $1.00 a pod, the Verismo had better behave. And definitely get the 96, not the 12 pack.

The Verismo is a neat little machine, but it has it's quirks and the cups don't make a very large portion of coffee.At a cost of about $1 per pod, it's far more expensive than other machines, and the Verismo pods are harder to find (hence the higher price...).That said, it does make a delicious cup of coffee or espresso.

I would have given 5 stars if the prIce had been better.

Verismo Expresso is BETTER than anything Starbucks makes. You'll have to visit MIAMI to get better espresso. I run each cup twice through the Verismo for the proper strength.

Honestly, it's difficult to tell Starbucks didn't just brew it for me. I love its espresso and these pods through my Verismo are just as tasty and pack a nice punch. Great purchase.

Like this even better than Pike Place. Not normally an espresso girl, but this isn't burnt and bitter tasting but it's got depth and richness.
