Easy to use, smartphone, tablet mac/pc &nvr compatible outdoor IP camera with stand alone recordings
The media could not be loaded.  Luowice R8 Wi/Fi or wired 1080p IP PTZ Bullet CameraSummary: Easy to set up and use motorised PTZ camera with multiple ways to view and control giving good HD image and audio, use wired or wireless and remotely view it with smartphone, computer or cctv recorder, built in sd card recorder.Fully motorised pan and tilt movement4 x optical zoom lens30 metre IR NightvisionWired or Wi Fi connectionControl and view it with a smartphone, browser or NVR (ONVIF)1080P HD resolutionBuilt in microphoneBuilt in Recorder with 32gb micro sd card included, up to 128gb card compatibleApp notifications when motion is detected.Camera Power :The camera comes with a 2 amp 12 volt dc power supply with a 3 metre cable, it does not work via POE. The connector is a standard 2.1mm dc plug so you should be able to find or make an extension power cable if 3 metres isnât enough.Browser:The camera works with my Apple Mac with Safari and Chrome browser perfectly and I have no doubt it will work perfectly fine on all browsers as Active X plug in is not required. The camera language was set to Chinese when I received the camera however a quick email to support I was sent a pdf document showing how to switch it to English language, in my video I show how to do this easily. The browser view gives you a large viewing window with PTZ and preset position controls and the settings screens has all the settings you can make in the camera there.Smartphone App:The app is called CamHi, my video shows it being used with an iPhone 6s plus.Adding the camera was dead easy, I connected the supplied network cable to the router and powered up the camera, the selected Add Camera and it found it immediately and automatically added it. Having used a few apps this was no doubt the easiest Iâve found to use yet.I intend to use this camera via a wired ethernet cable but for those of you intending to use it via wi-fi read on..(NOTE: This camera only works via 2.4ghz wi-fi, it does not work via 5Ghz wifi)Once you have added the camera in the app, go into the wi-fi setting page and add the wi-fi password into the app, then you can disconnect the network cable and reboot the camera then it will connect via wi-fi.The app lets you move and zoom the camera, make setting adjustments, set up motion detection and snapshots, you can take remote snapshots and record to the phone as well. Audio is excellent so you can hear whats going on around the camera but you cannot talk back via the camera. The app cog icon into app will take you to the settings screens, there are extensive settings you can make with the app including motion detection which seemed to be missing from the browser interface.NVR:I have a Network Video Recorder from Xvision that is compatible with this IP Camera, the NVR found it and added it automatically using the ONVIF protocol, I can control it using the NVR and the smartphone app that the NVR uses too, my video shows it in use with the NVR.CMS Software: Iâm not sure if this is official software but anywayâŚ.I googled the model number of the camera from the device info menu and found some CMS (Central Management Software) that works with it called HIP2PforMac, there was also a Windows version, fyi the device model is C6F0SgZ3N0P6L2, try it for yourselfI hope you found my review and video useful, please give me a thumbs up if you did.

Powerful consumer product
The quality of this camera is astonishingly good. I went through 3 cameras before finding this one and have not found anything to dislike about it. I needed a camera with PTZ to monitor my car at night and because it's on street parking I needed the pan, tilt and zoom function so now if I don't get a space outside my house I can easily reposition the camera using the app or pc software to do this and have found a minimal drop in quality when zoomed in. The daytime quality is simply amazing and I can zoom to the end of my street and still read number plates. The sound is really good too and would make a great camera for inside use too to monitor pets etc. Night time IR is really what I intended to use it for and records good quality black and white video. The only downside with IR is it reflects off shiny surfaces which means I'm unable to read number plates of cars passing by. Had some issues early on with the PC software which turned out to be my PC not the camera but Luowice went out of their way to help me solve the issue which they really didn't have to do. I received an email back within 24 hours every time and they gave detailed step by step instructions along with pictures.Setting it up I used a small sealed weatherproof box just below the camera on the front of the house which I fed the camera's leads into where I connected the power and signal cable to a POE splitter which allowed me to run a single Ethernet cable to the back of my house where my router is and then using a second POE splitter to split power and signal back up again so I could connect one lead into my router and the other to the supplied mains adapter and into a nearby plug. (if you have a switch or a router that supports POE then you don't need the 2nd splitter or the mains adapter. Using a POE splitter means you don't have to worry about running the adapter to the camera. Search amazon for "POE Passive Power over Ethernet PoE Adapter Injector + Splitter Kit 5v 12v 24v 48v For IP Camera, CCTV, Network" this gives you both parts needed. The app is brilliant, once downloaded all I did was pair the camera and enter my wifi details and the camera automatically starts recording onto the camera's built in SD card and I get around 24 hours of 1080p video stored at a time which I can easily view on my iPhone. I also set up my PC to record round the clock which was very easy to do using their software. Having a PC set up to record is not a necessity, the app can do it all but bear in mind the SD card it comes with will only store around 24 hours of footage. I also managed to get it working on a QNAP NAS drive using the built in surveillance software. One last thing you can use the app on your phone wherever you have signal/wifi, not just at home. You can also set it up to send photos or a notification by email when it detects motion so you can either open the app and see who/what set it off straight away or view the corresponding video later on.Highly recommended.

Useless as a security camera.
The quality of the camera is OK but the software and recording functions reduce this camera to a worthless wall attachment. To start with the motion detection recording is limited to 14 seconds. That means if someone approaches your property but just stands for 14 seconds before doing something they shouldnât, you wonât have it recorded.I contacted Luowice about this and their solution is to turn on the planned recording as well as the motion detection recording, so if you get an alarm recording, you then look through the planned recordings to find the longer one!Genius. I tried this, I ended up with over 600 recordings in 4 hours. Not only that but this camera doesnât continuously record over o;ld footage. One the SD card is full it stops! If anything happens after the SD card is full you wonât have a recording of it.Iâm going to leave this in situ but it really may as well be a dummy. I was for buying it! Do yourself a favour if you want a proper security camera donât buy this.I havenât just written this review without trying to get these matters resolved with Luowice. Iâve exchanged quite a few emails (some of which were ignored as they donât have a solution) in the end they offered me âgiftsâ which I havenât accepted. Iâm assuming they would be offered in the hope that I wouldnât be writing a review like this.
