Tanfoglio Witness 1911 Full Metal Airgun

Ordered two of these bran new. Both started leaking air out of the top of the magazine with-in a week's of occasional use. Seems to be a bad seal around the metal piece that contains the plunger.For both, I was able to successfully deplete a CO2 cartridge while using the magazine, and when replacing with a new CO2 cartridge, all of a sudden the magazine would immediately start leaking air out of the top, from the square hole at the top end of the magazine.Very disappointed

I actually purchased this gun for a display case setup, and must say that of the multiple airgun firearm replicas that I own this one is hands-down the nicest. It's visually gorgeous, heavy as the real thing, has realistic blowback (if you are thinking of purchasing for training purposes), and can be field-stripped for added authenticity and realism. However, before displaying this I wanted to shoot it and that proved to be another story. The gun jammed on the first slide/trigger pull. It took me over an hour of careful disassembly to locate and remove the offending BB, which had slipped into the gun's nether regions to create a jam the very first time I worked the slide. An hour later I finally took my first shot, and the gun did not jam after that. However, the slide is supposed to remain in the open position when the magazine is empty, and mine did so erratically. Amazon was very quick to send a replacement, which worked flawlessly. From the other reviews, it appears that I was in the low percentage (5-8%) to get one of these with issues, and most users have been extremely happy with theirs, as I was with my replacement. Again, it's an extremely beautiful and realistic replica and, after a replacement, I can recommend it.

Waste of time, ammo, CO2... Ocasional Cortex will be blaming me for my CO2 footprint next to cow farts.I am on my second unit, and the front sight has gotten loose after around 300 rounds. Followed by the rear sight. Rear sight can be tightened but you will need to field strip and remove the "air chamber" or whatever it's called. Then you can access the two tiny screws. The front sight however is pressed/staked and not "slid" on the top of the slide and cannot be tightened unless you buy a brownells tool which cost around $50, but then that is for real "metal" not POT metal that this replica is made of.If you want to buy this pistol and want to just display it, then fine. Otherwise, buy the version with the front sight that slides on the top of the slide.I will be returning this second unit and will buy a different version, maybe the "We The People" by Sig Sauer...Overall rating is around 2.5 stars, but I put one star so that people will read this crucial information. I know some will tell me off for the rating, but people always either read the 5 star or 1 star ratings first before the intermediate ratings.Thanks for stopping by...==========Edit:Today the magazine is playing up. I am hereby giving this product 5 stars without hesitation since it is absolutely an amazing airgun/ replica of the real historic sidearm in term of handling and shooting feelings. The gun itself feels very solid in hand with roughly 90% of metal (some kinds of alloy, not steel) and 10% of high-quality plastic. It weighs almost like the real one. Cocking sound is excellent. Blowback action is very realistic and fun to operate. It makes me feel excited about every single shot despite the fact that this feature causes a short lifetime of CO2 tank (first 30-35 shots at full power are sufficient to penetrate a soda can at 50ft, the rest ~10 shots can bend Aluminum can and penetrate carton target easily) compared to non-blowback ones (this is normal, isn't it!). The blowback is very fast so that you can fire at a very high rate. However, the next thing I am gonna say is what really makes me that surprised: I shot a soda can at a 50ft distance with 100% of accuracy. Wow! I aimed with that iron sight, no other aiming support. The BBs penetrated completely throughout that can and stayed inside my wood fence. This airgun can also be disassembled like the real one for maintenance. In short, it's worth every penny. Just hope it can last for years. Warning: this is absolutely not a toy for either children or any irresponsible mature persons, treat it as a weapon since it can cause severe damage to living things and properties.

Bordallo Outdoor Products are the best and they ship fast in a properly packaged protected box. the 1911 Tanfoglio is more challenging and is recomended for guys like me with knowledge of all brand pistols, this item is heavy, all metal for ages 18 & up. the Co2 IS EASY TO LOAD ALONGESIDE THE BBs which is not so easy to load Unless you have strong fingers to hold back the spring in place, *People complained about Misfire or Jammed BBs, I think because they use regular BBs, NO. you must use swiss arms BBs or all STEEL BBs, in order to get better shots. I will Re-Post in 1 month to let you know how its holding up, if my theory is Correct, then this is a fun pistol to practice with. or target practice on Zombie targets.

This magazine clip is okay simply because of the cheap spring that is inside of it.After my Son having to reorder another magazine clip the gun worked okay.I still would recommend that you go to your local store to purchases something like this.

Rated 5 stars for the shipping was decenlty fast but not the fastest but they are good soild magazine pretty much what comes with a factory tanfogilo 1911 pistol only fits around 18 to 20 bbs and are full metal

I purchased 2 of the tanfolio 1911 bb guns, I love them, but one of the magazines had a bad co2 seal and all the gas leaked out as soon as it was punctured... Tried to modify seal, no luck, so what I did was order 5 new magazines and they're all good.

Spare magazine for my Tanfoglio 1911 c02 bb pistol. This is the exact same magazine as the one that came with the pistol.
