Safety at its finest!
After using sharp metal blades myself for my whole career in construction it was hard to transition, but after a recent boss showed me a terrible scar I sought out an auto-retractable blade, and came across this. I have now tried this out for several months and will never go back, it is almost impossible to hurt yourself with this. It cuts through so many construction materials with ease only struggling with a few, which even a normal knife will. Not the best with a guide (has to be thin) but still works. HIGHLY RECCOMEND!!! Buy now and save fingers and cuts. My only problem is now I have to sharpen my pencil another way. Love it

So safe.I am so what clumsy due to nerve issues and chronic health conditions and this slices through the packaging of items but not my fingers.It is amazing.Safe enough foe a craft minded young person to use.

Not much use really too much pressure

Needs improving a lot.
The media could not be loaded. Blade wobble a lot. Not for precision cutting. Blade change is fiddely and will not last long. This product is not made for active use. Pointy blades works way better then the one it comes with. Grate idea. It is safer than steel blade. Product is maybe £1.5 worth. For £20 am expecting something that will last longer than couple of days. Get the grip and make a steady and firm knife that will last. And you will have a lot of warehouse staff orders. Now it is not worth the prices and is in prototype faze. Need space for spare blades in handle.

Ridiculously bad!
Bizarre that something can be so bad for the one thing it’s supposed to have been designed for. It’s Like trying to open a box with the handle of a spoon.

Really good knife
I had a Westcott safety cutter with Slice blades and was very pleased with it, but the model is currently unavailable, so I looked for an alternative.I work nights in a supermarket, so use my knife for hours of opening different packaging.The standard safety knives provided by my employer are ok for ripping open boxes, but not so much for smaller packaging (and as the Health and Beauty ‘specialist’, this is what I need).This knife has a larger blade than my previous cutter, so I’m having to be a bit more careful in how I use it, but I’m definitely pleased with it.If you need a multi tasking knife, then this is a good option.I’m expecting the blades to have the same long last life as in my previous cutter; Slice blades are quality.The auto retract version is (IMO) the best

Works well, as described.
A great choice for safe working, I have to have a self-retracting knife at work and this works fine. It needs care as ceramic blades can snap as easily as steel so be careful but a good choice!
