I was working on a rustic-looking sign for my brother to hang outside of the small outbuilding that he uses to drink bourbon and smoke cigars. This set of tools, along with a couple of larger wood chisels, made it easy to incise a personalized 'message' in a 12" x 48" piece of antique heart pine.

This tool set comes in a nylon zipper case. Each tool has a safety cap which is especially nice for keeping the tools sharp. The set is a very good buy for learners and experts who want a travel set. They're very light weight, probably too light for advanced and expert carvers. The blades won't stand heavy sharpening or last forever. The reason this is a 5 star set is because of the price and packaging. When you wear out the blades you can just get a whole new set.

Decent product, clearly a low cost item but great for what I needed it for. Bought for my husband to see if he would enjoy wood carving before spending money on a more expensive set. The case is really nice.

These are perfect for my beginning wood carver. They're sharp but not too dangerous. There are a good variety of blades!

Very satisfied with this tool set. Used it to create linoleum block prints. Sharp, sturdy and variety of widths and styles. All the tools come with plastic caps and all secure in zipped case. Good value!
