Good alternative to halogen bulbs
I've used LED H7 headlights before. The last set I had had a small fan on top of the heatsink. This seemed like a great idea until the fans stalled, the headsinks over heated, and the LEDs burned themselves out!I thought I'd give these a go since they've got passive cooling and nothing to go wrong with them, and so fair they're working well.The only caveat with them is that they're tricky to install - the heat sink gets in the way of the spring clip that keeps the bulb in place, making them fiddly to install.
