Bought this at a fraction of the price for what was touted as "Brand New". The packaging was totally intact with the CD untouched with no scratches or blemishes. It plays just great and I am getting knee deep into learning Adobe Premiere CS6. KUDOS TO THIS SELLER!!

Adobe Premiere Pro
What I love about this product:- Rich content- author is definitely an expert- video quality is greatWhat I like least- a little fast for a beginner like me (I have to pause, rewind and watch again) I wish the author provided a more detailed description of what he's doing in every step such as "I use the shortcut command/control ... to open/do this. Often times, I have to rewind to see what button he clicked. If you have used other video editing software in the past, maybe you'll be totally fine with this, but I am a complete novice.

My first learning Adobe Premiere Pro. I have viewed ...
My first learning Adobe Premiere Pro. I have viewed only a few lesson, and I find the tutorial very helpful. I look forward to continue learning from it and get the most of it. Sometimes I find the instruction a bit fast, so I have to review them more often, such is life, you learn it till you get it. Worth the effort. These tutorial clearly show (Mr. Jago) a master at work.

An Absolute Bargain
This video training course is a steal at the price offered. Being that this is my first foray into video editing on any software, I was starting from square one with no preconceptions when I began this training course. Frankly, I was stunned at how quickly I became comfortable with the software. Another reviewer referred to the instructor's "heavy accent," which I believe is unfair. As an American, I have had no problems with the instructor's accent; in fact, I was pleasantly surprised that this instructor can speak for as long as he does without reverting to verbal crutches like "ummm" and "uhhh." The speed at which he presents is perfect, and he wastes no time collecting his thoughts or being sidetracked. He knows this topic inside and out. Do not hesitate making this purchase.

Adobe Premiere CS6 Overtakes Avid
Having been a professional Avid editor the past 10 years, I discovered that the latest version of Adobe Premiere CS6 was an incredibly improved edit program with a lot friendlier (friendlier to editors) interface. This video course when combined with Adobe Classroom in a book will get you up and running in less than a week which is the time I had to transition from Avid MC6.

Four Stars
Actually really helpful primer. Gets you past the initial learning hump, as CS Prem isn't always that intuitive.

Church Productions Engineer
Good training tool for entry level techs and engineers. I am using it to prepare for the Adobe Certification Program. It also teaches you some very basics of video like NTSC vs PAL frame rates etc...

Poor video instruction
I was really dissappointed in this course. I've used a lot of video training from Lynda.com, Groove3 and other sources. This course just doesn't measure up.I went through the first 40 minutes of material and almost had the impression they were winging it. They constantly used terms they hadn't defined, they failed to use standard demo techniques like mouse callouts, and the first supplied example projects were all messed up (missing assests, not organized like the narrators etc). Bad material wrapped in a slick production package. Maybe it gets better later on but I've already wasted to much time on this product.Try the classroom in a book series. Its what I switched to.... It covers a lot of the same material but is more organized (the example projects are actually usable).

Excellent introduction to this editing software
I have previously done preliminary training on Final Cut Pro 7 but its cessation and FCP 10 not being the same calibre meant my college moved to CS6. I therefore needed a good introduction to get launched in learning the new programme and key differences. This DVD is broken down into 19 chapters and each chapter comprises easily viewed and followed video modules that are on average between five and twelve minutes duartion in most cases. At the end of each chapter there is a self test to check understanding. While about 15 hours in total viewing, one will end up taking it in digestible chunks over several days I would suspect if like me you are new to it all and with no prior Adobe experience. This DVD course certainly delivered what I wanted which was a full overview and with good presentations ((Maxim Jago both in voice and presentation style never bores) but the real attraction is his showing with use of video and sound recordings on screen how to best do and manage things. In addition Jago is very good on using the on screen material to show common faults made, regular problems encountered (his reference to "gotchas") and also suggestions on which of several alternatives is the better in practice. This sharing of expertise will I suspect have me coming back to watch specific chapters and modules when I start using CS6. Also his guidance on shortcuts and managing projects all conveys valuable experience he has accumulated. In a few areas I would have liked a bit better initial explanation of what the tool or effect is doing (especially in introducing colour grading which I have always found hard to understand what is needed I must admit) but these are small faults in getting such expertise all in one comprehensive DVD for just over £30 compared with what classroom training courses cost.
