Before purchasing this bulb, I was under the impression that a light could be anything except pure monotonous necessity. How completely, completely wrong I was. Since purchasing the YAMAON Flame Effect LED bulb, my life has changed drastically. Instead of coming home to the same old yellow-white sheen of my inferior houselamp, I can come home to the uncanny flicker of a simulated hearth, taking me back to fantasies of a simpler life, the primal, when my ancestors came in from the freezing cold to warm their bones by the cave fire. Thank you for putting me back in touch with my roots. Also perfect for pranking your friends or roommates if you want to convince them that the house is on fire! 10/10 would recommend to every man, woman and child. I can't live without my flame bulb.

As of this writing I have had 4 different makes of these flame lights. This one is good, not great. Still too much of a digital effect in the flicker. If you have it in something distorted or frosted It will look much more realistic. But in a clear holder it's obvious except from a distance at night. I have one that looks better and 2 that are worse. It seems I don't get sent the same ones pictured in the advertisement many times. This seller however, did send the one pictured.

I was skeptical about where we’d put this at first,but he ended up installing it in our sink/tub room that opens up into the master bedroom. I usually leave that light on at night so that I am able to see the baby, but this bulb does an even better job AND it’s led!

This light gives an excellent atmosphere to a room. My 2 year old loves fire for some reason. so in lieu of real fire, this lightbulb really satisfies him. Wr keep the bulb in his room 😁 Anyway, Excellent product and I plan to buy another soon!

This bulb is great! It looks just like a flame! My daughter who is 8 goes bananas over it. WE can't believe how neat it looks! This adds a really special ambiance to any room, especially at night. It just looks spectacular. The best part is it isn't a real flame so there is no danger of fire!

These are cool! We put it in a tall lamp with frosted glass in our living room. It looks really cool and just gives off good vibes. We love it. We like to turn all the lights out and turn the flame light on to really binge on our favorite tv series. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a subtle background light when your houses lights may be too much.

This is the first time using the Flame Effect light and I love it. Just makes my room so moody and helps me sleep better. Lovely product, definately purchasing more and recommend it to others as well.

This is a really interesting light bulb. It's perfect for outdoor mood lighting - we used it in a hand held lantern. It set a really nice vibe, and is easy on the eyes. When we had it outside with our guests during a backyard barbecue party, we got a lot of complements. It doesn't "look" like a flame but it flickers and emits a warm light; so from within the lantern it could appear like a candle from far away. I would recommend it especially as outdoor lighting. The material appears to be good quality and could withstand some rain drops. Added some picture for sizing and a test pick for when we put it in a regular lamp
