My grandson loves turtles/tortoises so I got this kit to paint him a picture for his room. The image is very vivid on the canvas and the numbers are easy to read. They're a bit small in some areas, but you can still tell which number they are. I actually purchased paint pens in the same/similar colors to do the fine work. I can blend the edges easier with the pen as well. The little easel is cute, but I plan on framing it when finished.

This is an absolute beginner friendly paint by number. It is a little bit smaller than the listed dimensions but not by much. Paint with the colors given or go off the beaten path and paint what you feel. There is no wrong way to create art even it is a paint by number you can merely use it as template.

I am currently painting this and I love the canvas! Other PBN’s have a regular canvas and it is sometimes hard to get the paint to cover the numbers in one go. This one is completely different. I don’t know if it is better quality paint or the canvas itself which has a kind of coating on it. Over all I am very happy with it!
