I will update the review after we have had it a bit longer.Update on the fountain: My dog still LOVES it! still working great. I did however discover a small problem with using this. Be sure to limit the time your dog plays with this fountain. If your dog is a big drink that is. My dog really isn't a big drinker but drank all the water that was squirting out of it. She ended up getting very bloated and sick. Vomited everywhere! If you have a large breed, deep chested dog, be very careful of bloat. Im a vet tech so i could handle the situation. just be aware of the amount of time your pet is playing with the fountain. I still wouldn't get rid of this toy. my dog loves it and its a very well made product. Highly recommended, with supervision.I was missing some of the free gifts so I contacted customer service. They were awesome to deal with. They offered for me to return the fountain or have the missing gifts sent out. I went with having the missing gifts sent. They were great, so fast at getting me the missing gifts and wonderful people to deal with. Highly recommended buying from this company!

Walmart dog did get bored with this product, it is very well-made and I have no doubt would make a very good toy or entertainment for so many other dogs.

Works well. Cant figure put how to make the water stream go higher. The instructions dont explain it well

This is very misleading claiming to never rust. It has not only rusted and started chipping, but has also hurt my dog in the process. We live in the South where its hot 90% of the year and wanted something extra for our dog on the hot sunny days when we weren't all in a pool, or wanting to get wet. Unfortunately, its rusted even after keeping it inside when she was done and now is not able to be used. Disappointed in spending $60 for my dog to only use it 2 times.

I have a boxer who loves this water toy. After a month we started seeing rust. And 3 there is rust everywhere and it constantly leaks when not in use. Not where the hose connects but where the water sprays out. Great toy but for the price it shouldn’t rust or leak after 1 summer.

Normally I don’t write product review, but this fountain actually surprised us all. It took us and our French Bulldog about three days to finish the transition, but now he enjoys it so much I can see him more often in the backyard ever than before. Some tips we learned: choose a sunny day to start, it seems our bulldog likes to play with the fountain when it is warm and sunny. We splashed him and got him excited, then everything became easy. Also we started with low water flow for his first day, and kept him a little bit thirsty. Over the weekend when my two young nieces came over, all of them three were running over the fountain again and again just like playing the tag. I love this fountain, it makes my life a little easier and brings so much fun!

The media could not be loaded.  It's early spring but it is heating up here in San Diego, that's why I bought this fountain. Boy, my German Shepherd loves drinking water from this on his own. It's nice for having an enclosed backyard and letting him drink and play without me always checking back. As a field surveyor, I'm quite often away from home for more than 12 hours in sprint and summer and I always felt bad for not changing and refilling water bowls during those hot days. Now, problem solved, he LOVES it. My brother also thinks getting one for his Basset Hound. The fountain is quite sturdy, easy to setup, and mostly care free which is a HUGE plus, and isn't wasteful. The little dog whistle is shining and neat but I have to learn how to use it LOL (:

You need to make sure the water is not hot if in the sun. Very sturdy. Need to check periodically to make sure fittings are tight. I have an Australian shepherd and she cannot destroy thus and loves it. It is her #1 choice for water and fun!

Works just as advertised. I kind of wish the surface had more grip or was a bit rough, my dog is leery of slippery surfaces, but she really likes the fountain

Good idea, but for larger breeds the foot pedal is to small, its needs to be longer & wider so they aren't uncomfortable while trying to drink. We have an 80LB Bernese Mtd Dog cross who is very smart, but she doesn't like standing directly on top of the fountain, if the foot pedal was larger they could stand a little further back and lean into the stream. The fittings for the coupler were very cheap, and broke when we tried to use them, but the entire device itself seems well made
