Bkool – Bicycle Indoor Smart Bike

In 2018, as an alternative to the big name American online spin lesson products, the Bkool smart bike offered unbeatable value. With wifi smart resistance and feedback, almost silent magnetic resistance and a cheap Bkool fitness subscription you were getting more than twice the bike at less than half the cost.But then in 2019 everything went wrong. Bkool stopped adding new content to its fitness app, then sold the bike manufacture to a third party who offered little to no support.Instead of resolving the few issues which made the bike a flawed masterpiece, they left it unsupported.I would never recommend it as an alternative to a power trainer for a serious cyclist. The bkool simulator is OK, but at the moment the way the gear change system Bkool cycle "works" is so laughably bad it makes the product unusable with the simulator. You'd actually be better off with a non Bkool product. The Q factor is very wide, which might not matter to fitness users, but is likely to be a deal breaker for serious road cycle training.
