Rust Remover EASY4RUST

I'm one of those people that usually reads other people's reviews but doesn't bother contributing back to the community, but I thought on this occasion I would as I found this product remarkable.We had a very obvious rust stain on our granite patio, caused by leaving a hosepipe reel with a metal frame in contact with it for long periods. (I think the metal was actually aluminium funnily enough, but somehow or other - perhaps by drawing naturally-present iron out of the stone - we ended up with thick, dark brown rust marks. See first photo.)I decided to invest in a wall-mounted hosepipe, and hence was able to relegate the old hosepipe reel to somewhere else. Then it was a case of how to clear off the rust marks...Jet washing was useless, but after a bit of searching on Google I found this stuff and a (slightly cheesy) video by the manufacturers that looked like it was going to be worth a try. So I decided to give it a go... after just pouring it on to the marks, the second photo shows the process working after a few minutes as the rust turns into a purple mess. I did it a couple of times as the marks were so bad, but virtually all of it actually came off within about the first ten minutes, and with two or three applications, a bit of help with a toothbrush, and a couple of times washing it down, it was all done. After about an hour's work, the result is remarkable... see third photograph.I was tempted to give this four stars overall as I think it is quite expensive at £36 when I bought it for a litre of chemicals (compared to, say, drain unblocker), but I have no idea what it in it and it is almost certainly a less competitive / lower volume market. Anyway, it did what it said it would, and as the photo shows, the end result is impressive, so five stars overall, but one knocked off for value for money (which was a close call as it worked so well).

Wish I’d taken a before and after photo. We had rust spots appear in our newly laid natural stone flagged area and we were mortified. We tried all sorts to get rid of them but then discovered Easy4Rust. It’s expensive but it works a treat. We brushed it on with a paintbrush and the rust spots turned purple which is a good sign. We left it for 20 mins and then hosed it all away and all of the spots has disappeared. Amazing stuff, expensive but worth it.

Had rust stains on porcelain patio from umbrella base which would not come off with scrubbing . Took two treatments but easy4rust did the job , was easy to use pour on wait and wash off.

This stuff seems a bit expensive but it does actually work very well. I used it on a cold day and it took longer than expected for the purple colour to appear, showing that it is beginning to work. Nothing else I tried was as good as this stuff for removing rust stains from my natural stone patio paving slabs.

Works exactly as described.

Product didn’t work even tho I followed product instructionsI did contact Aspects directly to ask how to get rid of fertiliser staining on grey sandstone( see photo above)They said easy4rust would remove the stain, we’ll it hasn’t! Very dissatisfied, very expensive product

Worked a treat , all the rust stains from a skip are g one from my granite drive !!
