Strap WAY TO BIG. Looks like it was cut for an NFL offensive lineman. Had to install additional hook and loop and make it fit my leg (5' 9", 175 lbs male; normal build). Kind of a ridiculous re-engineering requirement. Also, the logic and placement of the pockets on the right side don't make much sense to me. Yes, there are little pockets there, but no there aren't any longitudinal-place slots (or pockets) to place a pen or pencil; only perpendicularly placed pen slots (which in my opinion get in the way of a helicopter pilot's work)On top of that, the loops on the left side don't really work for a helicopter. If you place too many document protectors there, the knee board want to roll left. Then if you attempt to place a NOS approach plate on the center of the kneeboard (under the provided CLEAR PLASTIC Velcro hold-down strap), you'll find that they didn't cut the CLEAR PLASTIC long enough to go around a typical NOS Instrument Approach book (e.g., TN... not even talking about the thick books -- which wouldn't even be remotely possible).Very disappointed with what otherwise looks like a great product.Sewn nicely. Just doesn't work for me.

Would have given them 5 stars if there were a few more page holders with the kneeboard the Kneeboard or if there was an easy way to order extra pages holders. Have checked at 3 local airports, including KLEX and have yet to find the extra pages that I need.

Great product, pen slots a little tight.

Amazing tool that would help you in the cockpit environment. I used for IFR flight and for checklist and allow me easy access to all the charts and notes.
