What I liked most was the excellent finish on the belt and the buckle. The lock and ratchet mechanism is ingenious. The possibility of mixing and matching belt and buckle is a very welcome one...I could potentially see myself as having a collection of different belts and buckles.The length is a bit critical, with not much leeway beyond the prescribed sizes. My waist is 38 inches, and I bought the smallest (up to 39 inches) and found the fit to be critically neat...I won't be able to loosen the belt after a heavy meal!And I am not even considering a return and replace as it took all of a month for this belt to be delivered in the first place. That is the main failing of this belt/belt supplier.Addendum: I've since found the belt does not fit me...too short! I've given the belt to my grown up son, and he loves it. Please note that the belt needs to be purchased longer than your waistline if my belt is to be used as a reliable benchmark.

I put the belt on my trousers but when l tried to undo the belt it would not release the catch would not work

Very clever design. It took a while to work out how to connect the belt to the buckle as the belt and buckle arrived not attached. Once I worked out which end was which it was easy to operate. True to size.

It’s always difficult to write a review a few days after buying an item but the two belts I bought look good, I adjusted them to my size (always buy a larger size ‘cos they can be cut down easily). I have no idea if they are hard-wearing but they seem to be good quality...

I am loving it, what you see is what you get.I can buy it again.
