OPTX 20/20 Ecoclear Flora Bio Based Reading Glasses

I've been looking for some half-frame glasses for a while now and couldn't find any in the local stores. I saw these on Amazon but, while they looked nice, I hated to buy anything that didn't have a review. So here is my take on these glasses.First, here are the frame dimensions, which neither Amazon nor the manufacturer provide. The lenses are 1 1/8 inches high (from the bottom of the frame to the top of the lens), the frame is 5 1/8 inches from hinge to hinge, and the ear pieces are 6 inches long.The ear pieces curve in at the end rather than down, this makes it easier to slide the glasses down on your nose a little to help looking over the top and still remain comfortable. My previous reading glasses are rimless wire framed and I always seem to be placing them where I would inadvertently "tweak" them and bend them out of shape. The frame on these glasses is very sturdy and light weight. They are easy to wear and the half frame lenses make it easy to look over the top while working on the computer.All-in-all, I think these are high quality and well-designed reading glasses at a very good price.

I was tired of the dollar store glasses screws working loose and buying a new pair every month or so. These seem to be holding up and doing the job for not a lot of money. The ear pieces are very soft and flexible, however these do not the flexible hinge that the better frames have.

I like the lightweight molded frame with half glass. Very comfortable. The color is a significant disappointment as it just looks black, not the "photochromatic" color mentioned in the title and shown in the picture.

they are nice looking but notice that the lenses have a slight yellow tint to them compared to my prescription glasses. I keep these in my jacket pocket as i'm always forgetting to bring my other pair with me when out. they work fine and come in a nice thin case to protect them.

I ordered more. They are way better than the Optx that used to be sold at Walmart. The Walmart ones would break at the stem - of course they were way cheaper at Walmart. I needed the low-style to peer over and they grib my head without discomfort. No worry of falling off when bending over. Great stuff.

The fit is good. However the lenses are Not Phorochromatic, the lenses do not darken at all on the sunshine outside. I bought these to use outside, I wanted lenses that would darken. The magnification is good. The case that came with them is also sub-par. I would not buy them again.

Good looking. Good value. Could fit a little tighter to keep them from falling lower than desired.

They are nice frames, I just don't know if the lenses are not right for me or what?? I don't notice any difference in reading with them.
