Halloween ABC (Little Golden Book) Hardcover – Picture Book, July 14, 2009

I really enjoyed the story, the pictures and colors where very bright.

By 3 year old loves this book. We like to change books out with the seasons, and he has enjoyed this one a lot this fall. After a few times reading it he likes to point out the items on the page. I think it’s a good pre-reader book.Let me know if you find this review helpful.

Great value, and awesome book for a 2 year old!

This book was the perfect choice to help prepare my two-year old for Halloween costume parties and trick-or-treating. The book is full of vibrant and interesting illustrations and features a wide assortment of costumes and traditional Halloween symbols, from black cats to ghosts and jack-o-lanterns. The book is educational (ABC, obviously) and full of alliteration. The last few letters bring the night to an end with trick-or-treaters ready for sleep, so this can so serve as a bedtime book, I would recommend pairing this book with 10 Trick-or-treaters, a Hallowren counting book. It is equally good.

Ordered this for my 2 year old great grand children (twins). They have really enjoyed it!

At first glance, Halloween ABC may appear to be a typical primer for little ones first venturing out into the great big world of reading , but typical it's not. It's a wonderful mix of holiday excitement and humor. Although the book will need to be read by an adult, the child will be glad to follow along by looking at the simple, yet colorful illistrations on every page. This book takes you through the alphabet in a storylike fashion with no ghouls or goblins to scare anyone. Typical quality one can expect from Little Golden Books.

Grandkids loved it

I had seen this book and was impressed by how this was suited to a 4 year old vs a basic ABC book. Kids really liked it.

Too basic for my 3 and half year old twins. More suitable for under 2’s

Great way to have kids interested in the alphabet.
