Bullitt

I was so looking forward to listening to the classic music of the cult movie "Bullitt." However, my expectations were not met. I believe that this c.d contains tracks that have been re-recorded in far more recent times, than when the music score was composed in 1968. I feel somewhat cheated by the above and I simply loath listening to classic music that has been re-recorded.

Even if this wasn't a marvellous film soundtrack, it would still hold its own as an exceptional jazz album.Schifrin incorporates the big band treatment with wonderful individual solo offerings in what can only be described as a cinematic masterpiece listening experience and I'm digging that crazy flute.

Excellent soundtrack !! Cool retro music !!

I've loved Steve McQueen for many years, and he was in a lot of good movies. Bullitt stands out for being exciting, thrilling, loud, violent and epic all at the same time.The music is something else; it's perfect late 60's music for a perfect late 60's film; if you like Bullitt well you'll probably already like the movie score too.

Excellent addition to my soundtrack collection. Nice production. Lalo scores always are worth a full listen.

Classic soundtrack from a classic movie all I need now is a Ford Mustang to play it in, ha.

An incredibly well engineered 'big', spacious, involving sound to this soundtrack which does justice to Lalo's superb score.
