The iPad case works well to protect the iPad and the Apple Pencil.I've had a few issues with the keyboard doubling the keystrokes that I've made. This is especially annoying when it doubles the space character since the default setting on the iPad is to put in a period and capitalize the next. Letter. Yeah, like that! The keyboard battery seems to last a while. I haven't had the keyboard battery die on me yet.The "kickstand" on the case is about 1/3 the width of the case, so if you're trying to use it like a laptop on your lap, it is not always stable. It is more stable if you put it on a clipboard or book or desk.The case has a wake/sleep button which covers the iPad's button. I think sometimes this makes the case depress the iPad's button without the user's input. Sometimes when I move the case during use, the iPad goes to sleep as if I had hit the button, though I hadn't. Another reviewer said that folding the keyboard back behind may make the magnets in the cover activate the wake/sleep function. I haven't been able to duplicate this by just moving the edge of the cover close to the edge of the iPad from behind.The slot for the Apple Pencil works well. In the middle, the tray for the pencil has a notch which makes it easier to grab the pencil.I bought the case to be able to type up short documents/emails, and to protect and carry both the iPad and Apple Pencil. It serves these functions fairly well. My problems with the keyboard may be due to my typing technique, but I don't have this problem with my laptop or desktop.

PLEASE NOTE ! ! Read the instructions about HOW TO CONNECT via Bluetooth. A key combination must be pressed before the keyboard will appear in your Bluetooth device list. Most keyboards will show up for a few of minutes after simply turning them on. Since this one does not... and the Bluetooth light will just flash for a second... some here have posted that it’s will not charge and won’t stay on. It only appears that way (I made that assumption myself). So, read those connection instructions first.- - So far, these are good keyboards. Very sturdy, and the keyboard is attached, so it can’t be knocked off like the magnetic ones can .... but it can be separated if needed (snaps on and off). The best design feature is the thick rubber corners. Drops on the corners are when most damage occurs.

Since writing the below review, the company has offered a refund or the option to replace the item. because the item was so great, I have chosen to replace the item. They take all feedback and use it to better their product! the I Purchased this product for my fiancé. He was finishing his undergrad and needed a durable keyboard, that didn’t need to be charged as often for the hours spent in the library. My complaint is not at all in regards to the battery, but in regards to the durability of this product. We have had this item for less than a year, and the plastic arm which connects the keyboard to the case has broken. It would be my suggestion that this arm be more sturdy, as it connects the keyboard and does not function the same without. I have reached out to the manufacturer and I’m hoping to receive a response back. With a price point such as this, I do not feel that in less than a year something likethis should happen.

- I researched sooo many cases until I came across this one. I am 100% happy that I choose it!At first the keys were all messed up, if I wanted a question mark I had to click another button that was no where near the question mark but after a few days it works perfectly! my husband says maybe it was the connection or needed to get used to the iPad, who knows but now It works and im happy!The Corners give me make me feel better about accidentally dropping it and I know that my iPad will be safe.You will not regret buying this product. I am someone who reads a bunch a reviews before buying anything so I hope mine helped.

Very happy with this case. I have tried other case with magnetically attached keyboard. The magnet is not strong enough to keep the keyboard attached if the keyboard is not supported when I open the case. This one feels solid and protects the iPad well (though I have not subjected it to drop test). The magnetic stand on the back also works really well on flat surface. Keyboard keys respond well. There's nice textile texture on the outside of the case. The color is more like a dark, elegant charcoal. Glad I bought this one over other brands.

Everything I was looking for in a keyboard case!!! I just got the wrong size

Pros:Durable, sturdy and functional.The case protects my IPad well. The case and keyboard is easy to attach and detach.Cons:The keyboard stop charging and bluetooth doesn’t connect to my iPad.This occurred 4months after purchasing. I don’t use my iPad often so I’m unsure why the keyboard stop functioning properly.

I have had this case/keyboard for about 11 months. The keyboard battery life is awesome! My only complaint is that while removing the keyboard today, the tab that hooks into the case broke off. I wish they would make the tabs out of a stronger material. I hope to hear back from the company on a possible replacement keyboard. Thanks!
