Replacement Generic Watch Band Black with Steel Inserts for Invicta 1088 Russian Diver Watches

After reading some of the reviews and complaint about this band I visited the Invicta web site to order this band for my Russian 1959 Diver but they were out of stock. So I decided to order it in spite of the reviews, and boy am I glad I did. First of all the band comes with only one hole (band and watch has two holes for the pin) to attach the band, but if you are observant you can attach it to the nearest pin to the watch and there is no gap what so ever and fits perfectly. Second you can remove the buckle that has the Invicta logo from the old strap by removing the pins and attaching it to the new strap and it looks like the original strap. I purchased my band on Dec 13, 2015 and I could not be happier. I use my watch frequently and the band is more comfortable to wear that the stiff Invicta band.

Not an exact match, but close enough, and fits perfectly with no gaps. The rubber is more flexible than the original, so probably won't crack and break like the original did after one year.

Have a 1959 Russian Diver. This generic band uses the inner 1 pin, diver has 2 pins 1 outer / 1 inner. I needed to dremel the hard plastic reinforcement a little and it fit in great. I think it is loose for others because w/o dremeling they must use the outer hole, not the hole originally intended for pin. Even though only 1 pin is being used, it holds solid. I will buy this again when I need another polyurethane band.** Update: Been several months, wear watch occassionally Still fits great! Again for those who are saying "it leaves a gap" or "there is a space" , this can be remedied if slight dremel to hard plastic reinforcement is done. Then it will fit snug on the intended inner pin hole vs the outer pin hole. Added photos.

Way better than original. Was like a brand new watch when I put this on. So much better and more comfortable and even looked better. I sold the watch right after as I had used it enough and like to move on to different styles. The buyer owns every single version of the watch and said the same thing, he was so happy with this band. These guys did a superb job of creating a band that blows Invicta band away!

So far so good; the design/quality seems to be pretty well made. A much better improvement over the Invicta original band.I do need to point out that the band can only utilize one of the spring loaded rods per end as opposed to the 2 per side of the original; thus there is a slight gap between the watch and the band itself but truly unnoticeable.

What a massive style band. Paired with an old large black and silver diver style 26mm lug watch I had in a drawer. Wearing this watch now more lately, combination looks great. Band is extra long so the fit is good. Will purchase 26mm lug pins next, originals were a bit rusty. Like everything about this band.

Not only did it not fit correctly but It broke off. and is not a real INVICTA watch band..DONT BUY THIS!I'm going to purchase directly from Invicta site now!
