Pillow Fight Paperback – December 1, 2006

If you've ever read this mans work you know he has a style all his own; it's very creative. I will not spoil this for anyone--just buy it. it's fairly priced and a hidden jem for underground art seekers

Great fun read

Very typical of Brandon Graham's work. Puns, cool fictional gadgets. Super fun and sexy comic.

I have to agree with another reviewer who said the artwork was somewhat childish. There was also some background characters who were distracting and annoying, sticking their heads in with off-the-wall remarks. The sex was good, most of it lesbian, but Mr. Graham needs to improve his artistic skills.

Perfectly smutty for me

What makes this comic unique is Graham style. In the realm of adult comics, there are none which have the 'grafitti' style that is Pillow Fight. Compared with his first erotic magazine sized book "Perverts of the Multi-verse" Graham's drawings in Pillow Fight are more bubbly and softer than the sometimes rigidness of 'multi-verse', making the comic ultimatley more erotic. This is a must have for any adult comic collector as this first in grafitti style is sure to be mimiced by future artist.

The art isn't too great. A little simple, "childish", drawings.The plot concerns a girl who gets punished by her parents because they catch her having sex. She is sent to some sort of boarding school. Of course when she arrives at the school, she quickly learns that it is full of horny, naughty girls.Quite explicit and includes mostly lesbian, but a little straight stuff. There's voyeurism, anal and frequent use of toys. In the end something "magical" happens and one of the girls grows a penis which she of course must then test on her friend.Conclusion; cute and fun, despite the art that leaves a little to be desired. I had problems deciding whether to give it 3 or 4 stars, but decided on 4 just because it's so cute. *shrug*

Some reviews I had read of 'Pillow Fight' had me thinking that it wouldn't be quite as imaginative as Brandon Graham's other porn-spectacular 'Perverts Of The Unknown'. While the initial sexual encounters are relatively vanilla, Graham is still on fine form with his trademark puns and background gags. (one teacher really is a boar!)As with 'Perverts', anyone expecting character development and artsy detours should look to Brandon Graham's later works. Though the climax owes much to hentai, Graham's flair is more than enough to make it his own. Like the other book, this edition is also wider-than-magazine sized.
