The mask itself fits really well for my small head but like most reviews on this product, the neck piece is where it makes things hard to wear lol just cut a slit up the back until the back of the head and add Velcro. Also the mask came smashed in so you’ll have to form most of it back to shape with heat.

The mask looks great. Very authentic looking. But if you want the mask to be more than a nice showpiece, then it will require some modifications.As others have pointed out, the mask is difficult to get over your head and you WILL have to tear a part of the neck latex to get it on and off. If you manage to get it on, you will have a very hard time breathing. There's only two little slits by the mouth, so you'll basically be gasping for air through the tiny eye slits. There's also no holes for the ears, so speaking and hearing feels like you're incased inside a box. Because of this if you're the least bit claustrophobic, I would avoid this mask. Definitely don't put this mask on a child.That said, with modifications the mask can still be usable. The mask is basically one latex shell but the design actually has a lot of breathing slits. With a knife and needle, you can make your own slits that naturally flow with the design. You can also add slits on the ears to improve hearing. It's a shame the makers just didn't add all the breathing slits themselves. I'd argue the mask is fairly unsafe without making those modifications.I'm now able to wear the mask and wear it for a short while without hyper-ventilating or gasping for air. But I'm still on the fence on whether I'lll actually wear this mask while trick or treating with my kids. Even with all the additional slits I made, I'm not sure how safe this mask is to wear walking long distances.If you're not comfortable making apparel modifications, then I can't recommend this mask for a costume. There are better options out there in terms of ease of use and comfort. But if you want a great looking authentic black panther mask for your collection, then this is an excellent purchase for a reasonable price.

Was so excited to get this in the mail today, although the mask had pretty good detail and shape, there's absolutely no way possible of making it actually fit!! Aside from not being able to pull it over my head without completely ruining it, it seems it would be more then difficult to actually see out of.. other wise great for a shelf..
