Bought to do some small painting projects. Has everything I need.

My son and I used these multiple times. The brushes are nice, and there’s such a nice selection of paint color. The paint is smooth, the brushes are easy to clean, and the easel is a nice addition. These are great!

This is a nice paint set. It has good quality paint in tubes, a few canvases, some brushes, and more.The paint seems to be a good quality and it looks great when painting on a pre stretched canvas. The brushes are good for this type of set. I used my own brushes because I prefer amazing brushes when painting. The small canvases fit on the stand and can create cute small paintings.Overall, it's a nice set! Our teen girls love using this set. The storage box..well, more like a thin cover..isn't that great. If it had a high quality storage box it would be great! I tossed everything in an art bag for our girls to take on the go so they can paint on a long drive. It's a decent art set that's worth buying.

I am what you could call a paint addict. I just can't resist a set to try. This set is great. It comes with everything you need to get started. Sometimes I want to take some paints and go to a friends to paint or something. I can just grab this set and not have to gather stuff from all over my craft room. I love the quality of these paints. I have been using them with Arteza student quality. I am certainly not an expert, but I can't tell you which colors were which brand.The only drawback for me is the names. They are easy to kind of assume what color apple green, sky blue and royal blue is but I don't know how to relate those to more traditional names like sap green, aquamarine, or other more traditional names. I know you can swatch them and figure it out easily enough. Just my own quirky thing. This is definitely a great set!

I always like trying out paint sets, especially when they include everything that is needed. The paints I tried are of decent quality. Some of the brushes did lose bristles when I used them and the canvases are small, but they worked well. The plastic tools do the trick, but I am not certain how long they will last.I think this set would work best for someone who wants to try out acrylic painting to see if they will like it.

I have always loved art whether it be photography, painting, drawing, or even just doodling. I thought I'd pick this up and see if I can still actually create any decent artwork. My time is limited so I can't say that I've completed any masterpieces yet, but the set is really great and I love the variety of colors and tones. Acrylic paints have been fun to work with. They don't have a lot of odor which is great for me since I tend to be sensitive when it comes to strong odors. This is more than enough to get me started and then some. Painting is a very relaxing hobby and I'm really enjoying it while using this set and I love that it includes so many supplies with the paint!

It is exactly as pictured, but I didn't take time to consider the dimensions- this is small! But cute! It has everything you need on a lesser scale, making it ideal for a child or young adult's gift kit, though certainly it can be used by an adult. I think I'd get my own brushes but these are not dollar store quality by far- they are much nicer. I love that it's so compact and portable; I use my acrylics for painting doll faces so the smaller size is ideal for less waste. The color choices are wide and anything you don't have you can mix. The canvases and the easel are good quality, just shrunken down in size... I think the canvases are 4"x4", again great for kids. I have no complaints! This is an awesome set, just be prepared for the half-sizes (almost trial sizes but not quite that little), and you'll be fine. Fabulous gift idea or great for the traveling painter! Really recommended!

I got this set for my son (almost 9) who loves to paint with me. While I prefer heavy body Liquitex, it's rather expensive for a 9yo to be using. The Liquitex Basics paints I have are fine, but he's just learning color theory and is not great at color mixing yet. He's also a bit jealous of my easel.Pros:- Great plastic palette. I'm a little jealous, as I typically use a circular plastic tray (or piece of wax paper). As long as he cleans it after use, it should last a long time.- Soooo many colors. I've never had access to so many different colors, he's just in heaven!- Decent quality brushes.- Palette knives. I've never actually used a palette knife, so I may try some of these out.- 3 board canvases and 1 small stretched canvas.- Adorable easel that is sturdier than it looks!- Paint hues are boldCons:- Paints are a little thin bodied.- Would have rather had more brushes and less palette knives, especially for a beginner. A few larger brushes for washes and a fan brush would have made for a more complete beginner brush set.- There is a stain on one of the canvas boards (luckily, we'll just paint over it).I think an experienced painter would be disappointed in this set, but would be a great gift for a beginner or child!
