This yarn is so plush to the touch, it's certain to make whatever project you're working on extremely cozy. I used it to crochet a strap and it feels like a cloud against your skin, so soft you barely feel it's there, while also being warm. The sparkle is a blue-green and is very lovely, although hard to pick up on photo. The quality feels good, although I've found sparkle yarns to be a little more stiff than regular blanket yarn. It's not as thick as other weight 6 yarns I've used, but it's fairly easy to work with.

I love this yarn and the color. Its a big skein and one should work for a baby blanket. I bought my first in a craft store that was about 30 mile drive and I needed another to finish my throw blanket adult size. I was pleased to find I could order it on line and get it in one day. They had the size and color I needed, when trying to order it from the yarn shop, they didn't give me that option. The yarn is thick and very soft. The color, Golden Hour, is a good name as it gives a evening golden pinkish hue with darker colors in the yarn that are lightened with the "frosted" white mixed in appearing to give it more of a pinkish, yellow with some grayish blue highlights. I've added two pictures but my camera makes it look a little more bluish tint than the pinkish and golden I see in person. You can see how the close up of the yarn shows the mix of darker colors with the white that gives it a unique effect. Though it would be good for either boy or girl babies I would pick this one more for a girl as to me the pink and yellow stands out a little more. I decided to knit it instead of crochet as one would need bigger hooks or needles to manage it... at least I did just getting back to doing both again. I considered it a good price for the quality. It was higher in the yarn store though I got it with a coupon that so paid about the same. Love the convenience of delivery to my door!! I'll try some other colors next.

Good quality yarn for blankets. Thick and very warm. Would probably work well for a coat. Easy to work with. I have used this yarn for baby blankets.
