I was given a metal cane to help walk as I have twisted my knee, but the foam handle on it was quite worn. I ordered this replacement as it is similar to the original on the cane. It is made out of some sort of foam and your cane will not slip out of your hand. I did have my husband slide this on my cane because it takes some strength to put it on.
