HANDIWRITER - Blue strap and Blue Charm This clever device helps maintain proper position of the pencil in the hand. Simply place the loop around the wrist then grasp the pencil and place other loop around the upper end of the pencil. The child holds the friendly plastic dolphin charm between their little finger and next finger. Strange though it sounds, it closes the grip and is really effective. Other colour options are blue strap and blue charm, red strap with blue charm and yellow strap and purple charm. This listing is for a blue strap and a blue charm. Good, but expensive for what it is!
The product is good quality and will help my students who have difficulty with maintaining a correct pencil grip. However, at £7.50 + £3.99 postage (for something soooo small!), I feel that it's too expensive. Dolphin not necessary and will get in the way - I'll probably remove it. I need a number of these to lend out to students, but shall be making my own version for pennies instead of pounds. Sorry, but it's not value for money. Regret my purchase.

It is nice to look at and a hit with all my child's classmates! However, the reality is my child finds it difficult to use and has abandoned it already. Prefer the regular pencil grips.

Used in school. Excellent product!
An OT recommended this for a little one in my class. We use it in school and the little one uses it at home too! I have seen a variety of pencil grips over the years and I cannot recommend this enough. It has made a huge difference. It has helped with control, pressure, formation and grip. No more wobbly writing and fist grips, this product has helped a highly intelligent lite one unleash this full potential.
