The media could not be loaded.  Got this blanket to put under my fire pit that goes on my wood deck. I read complaints on how the cheaper ones just melted under heat. So I fired up the pit today, got it nice and hot and put the hot wood directly onto the blanket. You can't see it in the daylight, but the bottom of the wood was glowing orange in the firepit. After leaving it there for a few minutes, I moved it over and then inspected the top and bottom of the blanket.The blanket turned black but there were no signs of melting at all. I let the blanket cool down and inspected further and the blanket held up very well. On the close up photos one is the top side and one is the bottom of the blanket.Very happy with my test and it's going on the wood deck next!

MIG welding crossed 3/8 rods for garden trellises.With blanket 3/8" from welds there is no damage after 200+ welds. Good weight, not Itchy, well-made. Love it.

This blanket prevented us from continuing ruining the wood floor on my patio.Im sooooo glad I decided to buy it.Since it was kind of small to cover the front of my bbq grill (parrilla argentina), I just bought a new one 6x6.Great product and the denim look is pretty cool.Many asked me about it and found it useful. IT's like a fashion carpet for the grill.

I don’t do a whole lot of welding and haven’t ever needed one of these blankets, but I finally did a project I couldn’t risk ruining things around me. These worked great to shield those items. I definitely glad I bought these.They also seem extremely durable, but I do not weld professionally so I’m not sure how they would hold in that setting.

Really helps contain sparks but hot slag burnt hole in it.

First time I used it was on a brand new epoxy shop floor. I was torching off a bolt and a few spot on the blanket burnt though and melted the new floor. It would have been much worse without the blanket, so I can complain to much.If it would be a little thicker I would have given it 5 stars, I would pay more for a thicker blanket.

Works great! Is SOO MUCH BETTER than the JJ Care ones that Amazon tries to get you to buy. This one doesn’t shed fiberglass, has grommets that actually stay put, and looks good!

Bought this blanket to drape over my new composite deck railing. Need to protect it the heat of the grill. So it’s perfect for that. I even sent the company an email asking if it’s ok to keep the blanket outside in the rain. They answer right away and explained that yes it was and it’s no problem. Definitely would recommend this company to anyone.

This was purchased as Xmas gift to use on a smoker to keep the heat controlled.I will leave further review once recipient uses it
