really comfy, love the color, but if you are short be aware that these will be very long on you
I really like these! I mostly bought these because I wanted something to keep my knees warm in between sets and lifts. I wear them if I'm squatting or olympic lifting and wearing shorts. I don't usually use them on top of pants unless it's a thinner pair of leggings. These dont offer the same variety of "support" the thicker knee sleeves do, but that's not what I needed anyhow. There is some compression, but these sleeves are not nearly as thick as the neoprene SBDs or Rehband types. But if you need those thick sleeves, these aren't for you. I mostly wanted to be able to a) keep my knees warm in between lifts/setsand b) soften the blow to my knees and shins when I olympic lift --sometimes if my first pull isn't gorgeous I end up knicking the top of my shins and my patella and leaving them all scraped and bruised up.Also, can we just talk about how awesome this neon pink is? I love it. I enjoy any brightly colored lifting gear.I only have two complaints:1) the Hookgrip logo thing on top is not really flush with the sleeve. It's a thick rubber circle that's stitched onto the sleeve. I've lost some power on a couple of snatches when the barbell got hitched against the logo. Online you can't really tell from the photo...I assumed it was more like a sticker or screen printed logo, so it wouldn't interfere. Having said that, it's only happened a handful of times and not really the end of the world because I was still able to save the lifts.2) I'm a shorter gal, I'm only 5' tall. Obviously most people aren't quite as petite as me, and so for someone my size, these sleeves are REALLY long. Even though *for someone my height* I have fairly long legs, these are still longer than I'd like. So this isn't really a flaw in the product itself, just be aware if you are petite or have shorter legs, these might be uncomfortable. I felt like there were times where I had to pull them down to relieve a bit of pressure on my hamstrings. If I were taller they wouldn't be going so high up on my hams and presumably wouldn't cause any problems.

Best option for me
I was trying out different sleeves to find out which works for me. I’m F 5’6” 180lbs, Competitve weightlifter and bought a medium, no knee injuries or pain, and have been lifting for 6 years. All that said, I was looking for something just to help “support”. I tried 7mm medium rehbands and they were too much thickness/compression for everyday wear (maybe a thinner one would do?) and I tried the mava knee wraps - I decided wrapping is not something I wanted to deal with especially on competition days. Out of the 3 options I liked the hookgrip knee sleeves for ease of use, comfort, cost and that over time they will be easy/cost effective to replace (if needed, but someone else in my gym has had them for 2 years and the still work/no tears/fraying), easy to clean and felt the most comfortable and provided the light support I was looking for. My knees always sounds kinda like Rice Krispies and these helped that too even though that wasn’t my intent.

Awesome
I bought these sleeves about 6 months ago and they are awesome, they keep my knees warm and provide joint protection while performing Olympic style exercises, also good for deads squats etc and what I love the most they are comfortable, great buy !

I like them.
They work as they say they will. They have a nice amount of pressure, and tautness around the knee which is what I am looking for. They tend to slide down a little bit but that's not a huge issue. If I lost them I would 100% buy a replacement pair.

Good knee supports for the price
I bought these as a couple of my friends said that it really helped improve their squat maxes. They also were experiencing knee pain which they felt helped to relieve it. I ordered it just to see if my squat would feel stronger. Overall I definitely feel more secure with them on. The compression and elastic does help you to get out of the bottom position of a squat much easier. It didn’t necessary help increase my max but makes my squat form feel more solid. I initially wore them throughout my whole squat routine, but changed to only wearing them when I’m above 80% and it makes such a big difference in the feel when I have them on and when I don’t. As I said it doesn’t help with my overall max but the speed in which I perform the lift feels better. Would highly recommend!

Good alternative to neoprene sleeves
Obviously these aren't going to give as much warmth as neoprene knee sleeves, but they also take a tenth of the time to put on. I like how long they are and they're are also big-calves-friendly, which is a definite plus. The only downside is that the part of the sleeves that go above the kneecap tend to slide down at the start of my leg sessions, so I need to pull them up after each set. However, after the first couple of working sets, with a bit of sweat, they cling and stay on for the rest of the session.I like them a lot and use them more often than my neoprene sleeves just because of the convenience factor. I'm going to try throwing them in the washing machine soon so I'll see if they end up completely wrecked or not... stay tuned.

Worth the price? Sure. Great? Not really.
They are comfortable and do a ok job of keeping your knees warm, however it's nothing like wearing real knee sleeves as far as warmth. Also they tend to slide down on the tops because it's just cloth, would be nice if they put a thin rubber section at the top to prevent this.

Best sleeves for the price!
Love these knee sleeves. Good quality, amazing price and work really well for running or light weights. Still use thicker neoprene knee sleeves for heavy squatting or oly lifting. I like my knee sleeves tight so I order small and they work great. I am 6 ft 200 pounds, but have smaller knee joints. My wife who is 5'9" and slim also uses smalls and they work great for her.
