Nano USB Bluetooth Dongle Compatible all PCs, Driverless USB Bluetooth Dongle Adapter

The title of this review pretty much sums up this item - would be cheap at twice the price.Installation is as simple as it gets: plug it in and, if you're running Windows, wait for the drivers to install. Worked straight off the bat with Windows XP, Window 7 (64-bit) and Linux - didn't try it with OS X because my Mac already has Bluetooth.It's very small, too - put it in one of the USB ports at the rear of your machine and you'd hardly know its there.If you've got a desktop machine which doesn't have Bluetooth as standard, you could do a lot worse for a couple of quid.Heartily recommended.

I have several different bluetooth dongle's, a couple are 1 megabit, and 1 which is old and must be slower than 1 megabit, and a mini Belkin which is 3 megabit.This mini bluetooth dongle claims to be Class 1 100m and 3 megabits.Being as I don't have any Class 1 devices, I've yet to verify this is actually Class 1.But, this I do know... It is definitely not 3 megabits. It is 1 megabits. I get a transfer rate of 70 kilobytes a second with this dongle, And my Belkin I get 220-236 kilobytes a second which is 3 megabit. And as you can see that is exactly 1 third the speed of the Belkin.If they are dishonest about one feature, they might be about two features, or three. Or the whole thing.I recommend anyone looking for a bluetooth dongle with the features that this one has listed, to look elsewhere for a start!

Received this tuesday ordered saturday I use this as a connection for my mobile internet on my ZTE F102 works fine data transfer is pretty fast,I dont know about the 100m distance,but if i walk into the bathroom with the phone it stays connected but cant get any web pages up on my computer,there is only a thin wall between bathroom and living room,my flat is only 35m2 so its small but good enough for what i want to do so i will give this 4 stars.

This is a cheap and cheerful Class 2 device - works just as well as my Class 2 inbuilt Bluetooth on my HP laptop, but no better. Works in HP with Vista but need to disable the inbuilt device.I needed it to talk to a Solar PV panel inverter which is Class 1, but 3mtrs with wooden door and double glaze unit in the way, is its limit.At this price a good functional 30mtr (Class 2) device. I'm off to spend some real money for a real Class 1 device!

I haven't used it much since I bought it, but each time I have it has done exactly what it should do. My only comment is that if I were taking it out of the house I would prefer if it had some way of attaching to say a keyring as I fear one could easily lose it due to its size.

The first one I got did not work so it had to be returned, the second one was OK. For the price its a good buy if you get one that works.I was sent a returns pre paid envelope to return the faulty one so not too much hasel.

This device works well on Windows 7. Plugged in and recognised right away. It has good range and certainly works well within a reasonable sized room. Price was excellent, I can't imagine what more you get with the more expensive ones. Delivery was fast as always.

Arrived quickly via Free Post .. love the fact its driverless .. you have to pull it out of the the usb slot when it looses connection, which it does every now & then to be honest .. hense the 4 stars LOL
