Excellent Mat
This is the first mat I have found that does the job. I have a wooden floor so when my dogs go out they come in and the old mats wouldn't get all the water and mud which left the floors wet and dirty. Having this mat down has stopped this and the mat is so easy to wash and keep clean that i'm so impressed i'm going to purchase another one. This mat is a must for dog owners.

The best!
Fabulous door mat. It’s my second mat as the first one I had to throwe away after one of my dogs wet on it.I prefer to buy a new one rather than put in the washing machine and at under £20 it’s affordable to do this every few months or so. It’s really thick and absourbs so much water!Great value too.

Perfect for wet weather or somewhere warm to lie
Fantastic for the the dog to lie on after time in the rain. Very absorbent and my dog loves it. Thick and warm and large enough for an Alsatian.

Love this mat
Highly absorbent mat ideal for coming in from muddy or wet walks. Moisture seems to wick through the mat although it doesn’t come out in the underneath. It is also quite snuggly as my dog likes to just lie on top of it while waiting for her lead and harness to be put on.

I love it. This my 3rd one - all bought in the same week
On a Cornish beach in November, I saw a fellow dog-walker with two dogs, two crates, and two of these Dirty Dog Doormats in the rear of his car. As we chatted, I commented on them, and he told me they were great for when his dogs come straight out of the sea and off the beach and leap into the car. He said the mats dry the dogs by absorbing the water from their coats, and that all the sand drops from their bodies into the chunky microfibre tufts of the rugs, which he shakes out every now and then - keeping the car sand-free. Likewise, with mud. At the time I had half the beach on my back seat cover despite there being blankets on it, too. Unlike my blankets, the Dirty Dog Doormats have a non slip backing, and they don't slip when the dog fidgets and tries to get dry. I was so impressed by the appearance of these mats, and the man's recommendation, that I asked him where he got them from - and promptly went to buy two Medium sized ones from the local store.I then decided to Google them, and found this Large sized Dirty Dog mat on Amazon for less than I'd paid for a Medium one.... and promptly ordered it. I hadn't realised it was black Friday, hence the very favourable price I paid! I would still have bought it at the full Amazon price, even if it had not been Black Friday, as it is fantastic. I bought this Large mat for inside my front door so I don't get muddy paw prints in the hall when we return from walks (the two smaller mats are in my car). The backing of the Large mat differs from the Medium mats in that the rubberised non-slip backing is self coloured. I love the large paw-print motif, but I would have preferred it to be black instead of cream, so the mat could look cleaner for longer.Microfibre is renowned for its excellent water absorbency and quick drying properties and, with its long thick 'tufts', this mat does not disappoint. It is well made, having neatly bound edges, carries a care label, and is obviously washable. I haven't washed mine yet, but I will do so with caution because it looks, from the care label and the paper packaging, as though the colour will run.I did hesitate a little over buying this Dirty Dog mat because in the listing picture it looks as if it is two shades of red - which I didn't like. But then I thought "it's only a dog mat", and I can return it if it is no good. However, I'm very pleased to say that the two-tone appearance is just shadowing - a problem I encountered whilst trying to photograph the mat in artificial light. Please note, I have photographed this Large mat with the small mat that I had previously bought in Cornwall, just to show the differences in backing and size.
