I had to mount and secure a USB cable wire from the top of my roof around my metal gutter and metal soffit. I certainly could not drill holes into my gutter so these were the perfect solution. The problem is that in the manufacturing process, the machine cuts the backing tape and adhesive so that there is no edges on the backing tape that allow you to lift the backing from the adhesive so be prepared for some frustrating (and time consuming) moments as you try to get this red backing tape off. The give you a pin to help, but even with the pin, be prepared to ruin a few of these when the adhesive tape starts to come off the plastic along with the backing.

The clips attached to the wall to navigate the direction of wires is effective. I was able to connect a television to a perpendicular wall outlet using an extension cord and mounting it over an open door. So far it’s holding. However , I mounted more cable clips than needed. When I went to remove the excess of clips that weren’t needed, some of the plaster on the wall came off from the strong adhesion being used. I would say plan out more carefully the number of clips your going to need and their placement. Try to use just the number necessary to do the job. But this is an effective product that doesn’t require nailing into your walls.

Context: trying to inconspicuously wire an extension cord in a space with tight corners and little wiggle room. Strength of adhesives seems to vary by clip (fortunately this pack comes with a lot of clips). Sticks okay to latex painted walls/wood, sticks poorly to finished ceramic and wood. Adhesives are easy to use and less damaging, but are definitely not meant for tough/heavy hanging. Heck, with enough force it's not terribly hard to tear the clips off walls with your fingers. Thankfully this product also comes with a few of the regular nail- in holders that work much better than their adhesive counterparts. Plastic of the adhesive clips is fine - sturdy enough, but flexible too so you can bend the clip back and it won't break easily. If you are using the adhesive clips for light loads, these will work fine. Otherwise, I'd recommend looking for clips with stronger/higher quality adhesive or grab the nail versions that you hammer into to get that long-term stability.

Use the product because to need a very long cord going from my bedroom to the living room. some of the adhesion fell off in about 2 days or so. Most of them stayed on from now so it works just need to buy more to replace the ones that fell off.
