If you remove the botton plate you can fit a standard stainless steel coffee to go cup in it but nothing bigger than that. I believe it makes 8, 10, and 12 oz. cups of coffee. Im very happy with it. After dad got over the initial shock of a new coffee maker, he had no problem using it. He just had to get used to the water going in the back.
