This is a great headset for the price. I’ve been gaming for years with all different brands and I finally came back to the TBs. I love them. Very comfortable, great sound, easy to switch between pc/xbox/iphone. I use them for gaming and to listen to podcasts at work. My only small complaint is that I wish a piece of foam came over the mic to eliminate some background noise

Work extremely well, the noise cancelling microphone is so good that I don't even hear myself but everyone else hears me just fine. The bluetooth connected right away

Turtle Beach has had a very good reputation many, many years ago, and I was looking for a budget friendly gaming headset. I see this product came out to the market approx April 2024 this year, and that as a promo, Amazon Vine (and possibly other major retailers) working alongside Turtle Beach, gave out this item for free to reviewers to write an honest review. Well, I am NOT one of them but my review IS Honest. I purchased this item reading what I thought were honest reviews. Quite a few reviewers failed to mention that the Firmware Update is Mandatory for this Item to Fully Function, AND that it takes at least an Intermediate to Advanced IT Person to figure out that if you want to use this item on Windows 11, the installation will shut down every time if you don't configure the Setup file for compatibility. ADD to this mess, even if you're lucky to get the software installed, You will then need to use your phone to download the APP to complete the Firmware update! It is a 3 STEP PROCESS THAT TOOK ME 5 HOURS. Whenever I go back to the PC app, the app says device disconnected even when I turn the headphones on. Another glitch right there. ALSO, the USB Transmitter Dongle will be Flashing RED. This does not mean it's not working as it's working for me. It rarely turns Green which is ODD because doesn't Green usually mean GO? Folks this item is not worth the trouble for this price. I am awaiting a reply back from Turtle Beach Customer Service regarding the software installation issue. Other negatives: You have to unscrew and rescrew the band to make the headband piece if you have a larger head size. A small section of the earpiece/faux leather foam came dented and cosmetically i can't get it to get back into shape. the 1 star is for the sound quality and things working out to satisfaction after all was fixed on my end. If it breaks or fails, then Zero. Update as of 8/14/24: It appears that the Support Team fixed quite a number of issues mentioned above. I will update to 3 stars. The PC application is now recognizing when I power on the headset. Audio quality was also upped to 24 bit 48000 Hz as windows default which is not the best but decent. Minor glitch: Once you turn on the headset, you have to go to settings and change the speaker to the headset and vice versa when you want to go back to your PC speakers (Hopefully there will be an update/fix for this soon). The sound (and especially bass) when playing games is far superior than listening to music, so I guess this is the reason they call it a gaming headset lol. Update: Nov 2024: All technical glitches have been resolved to the best of the manufacturer (as long as you follow the instructions carefully. The sound quality remains amazing and most (if not all of above issues have been fixed via firmware updates. I upped this review to 5 stars. I highly recommend this item now.

This headset has been nothing but frustration in a box. To start, the USB stick is a finicky, unreliable mess. Upon plugging it in, most of the time, it simply doesn't light up. If you plug it into a PC, you get Device Unrecognized in this state. If you plug it into an XBOX, you get absolutely nothing. Unplug, plug it in, unplug, plug it in ... swear a little ... it might start working. When it *does* light up, and you can get through the pairing procedure, you'll get to use it ... for a little bit. At some point it will disconnect and you're back to plugging and unplugging the thing. The "re-pairing" procedure is like no other wireless/USB device on earth, requiring plugging in the USB stick, waiting for the light to light up, then unplugging it within 2-3 seconds ... then repeating that process two more times. This is a comedy of errors when combined with the above circumstance that results in "plugging it in and getting no light" so after a few hours of fighting with it you want to find the nearest sledge hammer for a manual reconfiguration. I can say with confidence that it's unlikely this is a one-off defective product. This is the third Turtle Beach headset I have owned. The last two failed between two months and one year by either some piece breaking off, the microphone failing or the adjustment dials failing in a manner that results in it either being completely muted or causing deafness. I have generally purchased this brand because they are XBOX certified, but outside of the first headset I owned, all require the silly USB stick rather than using the same protocol used by the controllers. I'm not sure *why* I have made the mistake of trusting Turtle Beach products, now, three times. I'm apparently *that* stupid. Don't fall for the discounted price unless you like "not having a headset" ... or any hair left after you've ripped it out in frustration. These are overpriced at any price and in five years and three headsets, that hasn't changed. Just avoid the whole miserable brand, I'd imagine they're all garbage.

Battery lasts long, sound quality is great (i actually have to keep it turned only a quart the way up because it gets LOUD) i use it to play rust and i can clearly hear footsteps far away, and all the other sounds i need to hear. Fit great, charges fast, comfortable ear pieces, and very durable. Ive fallen asleep with them on many times and have thrown them many many times. Still work good as new

I have been using these headphones for over a year and this is everything i have to say about it. --You HAVE to download the SWARM app in order for this headset to not have problems. It's not a big headache or anything, but expect it to take some time to update. Whenever an update is happening, it has to have the Bluetooth connected AND the USB drive inserted to a device to properly update both drivers. --The sound quality that comes through is absolutely exceptional!! You can hear everything so well and it does a wonderful job of differentiating things from both sides of the earphones. --The app has a lot of customization options for the headset sound quality, mic quality, and volume, but I hardly notice a difference in changing any of the settings --If you have 2 of these headsets, and you're attempting to use them both at the same time, you need to let 1 headset connect before turning the other one on. There is no separation in the USB drives to say which headset is the right and wrong to connect to, so it will attempt to connect to either. --I have had issues with the USB drive not properly connecting/displaying my connection incorrectly but I dont have this issue often. If you wiggle it inside of the port, it works just fine. --Whenever your headset needs updated, you wont know unless you check manually or start experiencing weird problems with it the headset itself. --My biggest BIGGEST complaint is the microphone. The mic quality isn't bad and it does an okay job at suppressing background sound, but my microphone stopped working correctly months ago. It will not mute anymore by flipping the mic up (which is the only manual switch/button to mute the headset without doing so in an app) and anytime that my microphone IS turned up into the mute state, it constantly makes the sound of it muting and unmuting over and over again, so if you are watching any videos, the sound will override the primary audio source you're attempting to listen to with its relentless beeping. --If you have mic-monitoring turned on, it works great at giving you feedback for what your mic puts out, but once your mic stops muting then you will hear the mic-monitoring anytime you're doing anything with the headset. --its very comfortable to wear, but the stretchy headband strap at the top is now very loose --its a sturdy, tough headset if dropped and the material is strong --It charges really quickly and still has an insanely good battery life. It can easily last over 8 hours with full charge --its very lightweight which makes it great for sitting on the head for long periods of time This is the best description I can give for this headset. It's connectivity range is pretty okay, maybe 20-50 ft, but its overall a really great headset. Im only considering getting a new one because im sick of the constant beeping when my headset is trying to mute, and it connecting to the wrong headset whenever me and my husband turn on our matching headsets.

The sound quality is a 4 out of 5. Decent bass when listening to Spotify on my Xbox, sound quality was also decent when playing games. I’d give the value a 5 out of 5. Once pairing is completed the mode switch button flawlessly allows a swap between Bluetooth and wireless mode. Battery life is great as well, only con I would point out is they weren’t as easy to adjust to my head as I would like. Overall I have to give these 5 stars since I enjoy using them every time I turn on my Xbox.

Great working headset. plugged the included USB dongle into the Xbox Series X and worked right out of the box. also works when you use a USB hub on your Series X. Excellent sound quality and bass. Bought for wireless communication in Fortnite. no more cables. no more accidentialy dragging controller to the ground when standing up. Also on xbox you are connected with 2.4ghz wireless by the included dongle, so no matter where in the house i am no lose of sound quality and people can still hear me no matter where i walk.
