Good quality. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I needed to remove wires to get cable through a gap. However the wire cover is fixed by non standard triangular headed screws so I couldn't undo them. I had to sever the wire near the plug and rewire with a new plug.

Very useful extension cable, good design of switches, clear to read.

I have now installed about five of these of different lengths around my house. They seem to be of good quality and are durable. My main reason for using these is that they can be fixed to the wall without being taken apart and also because each socket has its own switch and indicator light. Good space for a variety of plugs is also a good thing. They seem to be well made and well designed. They come with their own fixings. You do need a very basic competence with a drill and screwdriver to fix them to a wall properly but they can be used loose.

I use this beside my bed. I have a double plug socket which I use for my lamp, but I find that I now need to use the spare wall socket for more than 1 item. I often have to have a fan on at night and to charge my phone, I was constantly swapping the plugs over. So my hunt began. I ended up using non switchable extension plugs. When I found this extension lead it was the answer to my prayers. I was able to turn the fan on and off without getting out of bed, which is great when you have mobility issues and able to charge phone ect at same time. It's great having 3 sockets in this position as I was only finding single, double or 4 or more which didn't suit my needs in this area. I'm so glad that I have found this and just wished it had been found earlier as I often struggled in having to unplug the unused items all the time. This is 1.8 meters in length so also good for taking away on holiday with you. (You never know when you need extra sockets whilst away, I've found there isn't normally enough and usually in the wrong area for me) I'm always careful that I don't overload it, using it mainly for charging my phone, fan, Hairdryer ect and always switch off unused socket. Great item.

I have purchased a number of trailing sockets by this brand mainly because of the ease of attaching to walls rather than the old fashioned keyhole slot hit and mis method. Have also noticed people asking about cable entry direction for fitting purpose , i have had this problem and found it can be fitted upside down so direction of entry can work both ways. This is also helpful when skirting mounting as it means cable on plugs go upwards and stops tight fit of cable when entering from below.

I have now purchased several of these extension sockets. They are ergonomically about as good as such socket can be. They feel sturdy, the quality of the cable is excellent. The colour blends in well if you want the socket to be inconspicuous. Functionally, they are durable; I have had a couple of them switched on continuously for well over a year..

Instead of having to physically take the plugs out when not using the item just use the switch. Time saving and user friendly.
