Calming Covers Weighted Blanket for Kids (6 lbs, 35 x 41, Aqua Mermaid Cotton & Minky)

Just received this today, I bought it for my 10 month old in a sleep deprived attempt to soothe her at night with something other than breastfeeding. Sometimes she'll calm when I use my hands to put pressure on her torso. Haven't used it yet but it is almost bedtime so I'll find out very soon if it worksfor me.The solid fabric is very soft and fuzzy but not a thick fuzz. The print fabric is very pretty, vibrant. The Seams and the sewing in general seem very good, neat, and straight. Weight distribution seems nice, this is the first weighted blanket of any kind I've had. For that reason, I wasn't sure what to expect as the "weight." It feels like maybe sand inside, but not rough or grainy through the fabric, and it shifts around within it's pocket.So before putting it to use, I see no flaws with this product!

I absolutely love this cover. I use it for my weighted blanket and the size is a little off but honestly nothing that is a problem (that’s the only reason I 4 starred this). Wonderfully soft and warm (without suffocating) and overall exactly what I was looking for. I haven’t washed it yet but I can’t imagine that being a problem as it was easy to put on. Ties are strong and quality is very good for the whole thing. Great for the price especially!!

These are not the cheapest blankets on Amazon but I assure you it’s a dream come true. It’s made in the US by a small business and you can tell it’s been made carefully with attention to detail and quality. I’m in no way affiliated with this company- just a fan. The prints are magical and the quality is great-I have a cheaper weighted blanket by a different brand and it’s clear the quality is lesser, mostly because it’s a synthetic cover and it feels like it is.I would highly recommend-

Very happy I decided to get this blanket. My son's preschool teacher had told me about weighted blankets and that they would help him to settle down for bed. He is very active and bounces all over the place especially at night before sleeping. The first night I use this blanket he calm down way faster than normal. The next few nights I used it he fell asleep even faster than before. It has an obvious calming effect as soon as I put it on him. He loves to carry this blanket around and use it often. The quality is excellent and it's the perfect size.

After having some issues at my son's day care, I decided to try a weighted blanked. After reading all of the reviews I purchased it. It's the perfect size, weight and the material is great quality. He had a great response at day care, he went down for nap time super quick and was calm throughout the day as they allowed him to drape it over him. I can't comment on durability as it's only been 1 week. But so far so good. I highly recommend this product

I bought this for my 5 year old nephew who has trouble sleeping. Even after one night of using it his mom said he slept in his own bed all night for the first time. Plus the designs on it are awesome (I got him the pacman one) and he can trace his finger around it and act like he's playing a video game in his mind (he loves video games). If your child has trouble sleeping, definitely get this. Absolutely worth every penny.

My 3 year old is very, very high energy and has a hard time with high sensory environments. Thia blanket is a lifesaver, especially at bed time. I lay the "magic llama blanket" on her lap in bed and she is asleep in under 30 minutes. That's a miracle for her. We usually battle for over 2 hrs to get her to go to sleep.

This is a great cover. Its sturdy and good quality. I've been using it now for about two weeks and its held up great. Its soft to the touch and love the textured underside of the cover. It was definitely a pain putting on my weighted blanket but what duvet cover isn't a pain? Lol all in all I would absolutely recommend.
