Simple design that will stop low life’s pinching my gates again.

This is just as described but, because our hinges are the size quoted we will need to file the centre to enlarge it slightly to fit. However, it is a nicely made product and well worth the price.

This was the only place I could find what I required. I purchased some 16mm bar from elsewhere and needed these locking collars. I did change the grub screws supplied for some socket head screws but that was just down to my choice.

If you've ever had a garden gate removed and dumped along the street in "a late night prank", these little devices will stop their "fun"! (Just make sure you have a tiny Allen key to secure them, and that's it: problem solved!!)

These are worth having to defeat the casual thief.I used some lock-thread then chewed up the grub screws with a drill.If I did it again I would probably thump a wood screw through the hole*, bend it slightly at the thin end and then trim both ends with an angle grinder, but that's just me!Worth having.*I'm assuming you have a pre-drilled hole through your galvanised post pin, as I did.
