Very good the arm is short and could extend a little further so kids don't lean out of the chair so much but other than that it's great

With one major exception, this is a well-designed and well-made bit of kit.An advantage, compared with other models on the market, is the abilty to adjust distance from the screen - only 4-6cm, but this makes a difference when using a Switch. The spring holding the device in place is strong. The headrest clamp is heavy duty, with no play after tightening. Overall, it’s such a solid build that there’s little risk of it falling apart in the event of an accident.It would have been best if the headrest mount had rubber sleeves to prevent wear on metal and surrounding fabric.Two reasons for the low rating. It’s a bit expensive, but, more importantly, when mounted with no tablet in place it rattles so badly you have to take it off and put in the boot. This is a major flaw and a very annoying one, due purely to build quality. Yes, you could take it off and put it back when you need it, but this takes about 90 seconds each time.Tip - if you have a car with full electric seats, your headrest usually adjusts if the chair is moved back, so accurate mounting is key to preventing damage to either the car or the holder.

Review for Nintendo Switch Car Mount 5*Wasn't sure about using this and encouraging the kids to be stuck on a screen for ever increasing times. However for long journeys, this mount has proven to be very useful.The mount comes well packaged with instructions that in fairness could be a little more detailed but thankfully the mount is not difficult to Install. It attaches to a front headrest of a car and tightens on with a bolt.The switch fits snugly into the mount and stays put with adjustable arms.As a little tip I added 2 of the different shaped arms supplied to the bottom of the unit, in addition to the 4 already on the unit to aid stability.The kids were very impressed with this unit and I was not called upon to make any adjustments during a 3 hour journey, so it must have stayed put!4* as instructions could be clearer.

This is great for longer car journeys - for shorter ones we don't tend to take the switch with us - but when we go to visit grandparents, this is an essential piece of equipment. It holds the Switch really securely, which is clearly an essential and there is no movement so it doesn't rattle or give any indication that it is going to drop. Once the Switch as been removed, it is noisy - we only did this once and now, at the end of the long journey we remove it and put it back for the journey home. It doesn't take long and it avoids the noise on short trips whilst we are away. I've dropped a star for the price - as whilst this is a good piece of kit, it does seem overpriced considering the faff of taking it off and putting it back every time.

This holder for Nintendo Switch allows you to place the console in the back of the car so that anyone in the back can share the screen to play games.The kit is easy to put together and simply clamps on to the metal bars of the headrest in most cars. It worked in our Seat Leon. The Switch is then held firmly in place by several clamps on the side and can also be taken out quickly when needed.Moving along in the car, the screen stayed fairly steady and was easy to watch but when removed it did rattle a little. Tightening the dial and placing a piece of foam where the Switch was solved this, though it's a solution that shouldn't have been needed, really.

This is a good piece of kit - feels decent quality, solid and well made. Very easy to install, just a thumb screw to release the clamp, pop it round the headrest pole, and tighten.There were various clips in the box, along with a little diagram - I struggled to see the point of these - the Switch inserted into the holder without them, and seemed secure, so wasn't sure what I was missing.Only downside is that the holder isn't very long - so I felt it came up short if you wanted to attach to one headrest so that it was closer to the middle of 2 people seated in the back of the car. Other than that, a useful piece of kit.

Easy to install and quite a compact size, so it's easy to store in the glove compartment - and that's a good thing because it is annoyingly noisy when the Switch is not mounted.My sister and her family only use it for long trips, so it's not a big problem to have to re-install every time, but it really shouldn't be necessary and that's the reason for giving it 3 stars instead of 4.
