Doesn't last.
This lasted only 6 months before the pull cord snapped. Not worth buying.

Better than the original!
This is a great aftermarket replacement recoil starter for my toro. Very easy to install, took just a couple of minutes. The best part is that my mower starts using less power to pull than before.

One star reviews were correct.
Installed easily. Worked fine first two starts. Third start it failed to rewind completely. Removed and inspected it. Nothing I could do. Reinstalled it and it still would not rewind completely. Returning it.

Get Genuine Parts
It only lasted two weeks after being installed. That is, it was, only started two times, or six pulls of the cord. The second use of my mower after installing I got to do half of my yard then the recoil mechanism rapidly unwound and re-wound by itself causing the motor to stop. Not very happy.
