Not what its cracked up to be
These are the claims:Reduces sun glare by up to 70% and window heat flow by over 40%Blocks over 85% of harmful UV Rays and over 80% of harsh sunlightI would guess at most it is blocking 10% of the harsh sunlight. The glare is overwhelming still. Also, installation wasn't what was claimed. The instructions say "no measuring deduction required". However, when I cut to exact measurement, the blind was a crumpled mess. The "arch holder" pushes the blind up 1/2 inch higher in the center. Removing 1/2 inch made the blind unfold properly, but leaves gaps on the left and right of the blind.

Great shade, white color is grayish.
This shade is the answer! Simple to install and good quality. I needed something to block the Summer sun that beat in my high arch window in the late afternoon but I didn't want anything permanent. So instead of using the self stick tape that is on the shade, I cut 2 Velco strips and attached to the bottom of each side. Now my shade is removable for the Winter when I want the sunshine! Be aware though that the white color is more of a grayish white. It clashed terribly with my white blinds so I reordered the Natural which was perfect. I wish I'd put it up without cutting it so I could have returned but it was worth paying for 2 shades to get 1 that worked!

Clear Silicone Glue is needed.
Fabric is a good sunlight filter helps control some of the heat from the western hot summer sun.and looks good. The previous comments about the shade falling from the window are correct. So you have to improvisebuy using some silicone clear(Goop) adhesive where the shade touches the window frame at the top of the arch.A simple daub of the gue on the edge of the fablic in 5 places on the arch does the job on this light weight material.Triming is very easy with an extened blade box cutter. If the radius of the arch is greater at the top then thesides, just lay thin piece of plasic wood (1.25" x 0.25") purchased from a big box store (Lowes) to elevate the entire shade.Looks good.

Imperfect Arch vs. Perfect Arch....
The instructions are detailed and have pictures. They really do try to make it easy. If you have an "imperfect arch", you will find the task a bit more cumbersome. I ended up being able to cut my shade as if I had a "perfect arch" and it fit. It looks good. Other reviews have commented on the color and I am glad I had read them. I ordered the white and YES, it does look light gray to me. Matched my room which is gray.

Nice looking inexpensive arch shade.
You can see the trees through the shade, so it doesn’t block out the light too much but enough to keep the heat out of the house. Great price and easy to install. Had to place a flat metal bar across my window because newer windows don’t have a frame that sticks out to attach the base of the shade. I just have it sitting in the window, didn’t use the adhesive to attach on the bottom so I can unfold it and clean the window.

DID NOT FIT WINDOW PROPERLY
I have ordered several of these shades from Amazon, but not with the solar fabric. Having installed them previously, I cut and installed exactly as instructed. This shade was about 2/3 the length of the shade I was replacing and consequently did not adequately cover the window. The last shade ordered/installed was light blocking and I wanted something that would let in a bit more light. I have not returned this shade as it has been cut. It is in the garbage!

Fabulous shade
This shade is fabulous. As you can see from pic, I customized it to fit two curved windows. I made a pattern out of paper of the window and then cut shade to match. Added extra double sticky tape where I cut it in two. It took a while to do but turned out perfect and helps so much with the heat from the sun and darkens room at night from street light. Would recommend. Had it for a year and looks like new.

WoW! Impressed
We just moved into a new home where the previous owners had taken down an arched wood shutters. Which left a big lit space in a bedroom. A new shutter would have been over $400. This is perfect and removable if i ever wanted to install the wood shutter. My arch was just under 72, so i needed to trim only a pinch off. LIttle hard to cut with a kitchen knife but perfect!

Effective and looks good.
The difference was immediate. Of course we installed it just as it was getting nice and hot for the day. Therefore, I recommend installing it when the sun is not blasting heat into your house, as standing on a ladder blinded... not recommended. We also used Velcro on the sill and the shade so we can remove it for the rest of the year. Oh, the beige looks really good.
