This is a nice little compact clock and it is perfect for the bedroom. Dim numbers features and easy to set time and alarm make this a first rate purchase. The alarm is extremely annoying but otherwise the clock is awesome. I wish the clocks designers had given an option for a standard TONE \ BEEP alarm and the flowery girlie birds and song alarm.I just find this alarm clock better suited for a girlie girl's bed chamber. The clock is very nice and easy to read, set and use. I just think the clock is overly feminine. I won't be keeping it but some lady friends of mine will have a new clock soon. I'll be buying something more traditional and not so bloody new age!

Stopped working properly exactly 60 days after purchase. Basically right after the return window closed. The USB ports stopped working and it is stuck on dim so now when I wake up I can't see the time. A week after both those things stopped working the alarm quit going off. So now I have a useless peace of junk. Will be contacting the seller.Update - I contacted the seller and was very pleased that they promptly sent me a replacement. Great customer service. Hoping this one lasts.Update #2 - the replacement alarm clock did the exact same thing as the first. Permanently dim and the USB ports on the back no longer work. Obviously, faulty design. Now I have 2 useless alarm clocks.

I love almost everything about this little clock radio. It has a tinny sound quality reminiscent of pretty much all common clock radios, and it's similar in sound to the one it replaced. BUT... while it has a volume control knob, the volumn itself is digital, not analogue. 00 is silent and then the numbers go up in increments of 1 until you reach the max volume. The problem is that, because they are digital increments and not a smooth sliding analogue volumn control, 00 is silent and 01 is too loud for nighttime. My husband is a fan person. I hate fans. I'm a radio person. He hates radios. We compromise by keeping the fan low and the music low on the clock radio. But even with stuffing fabric behind it to cover the speakers (which helps reduce the tinny sounds, btw), its STILL too loud. We literally need half the volume of 01. So my husband now doesn't want the radio on at night and I'm struggling to sleep. Not gonna lie, this is a good radio, but I mostly got it for bedtime. I NEED substantial sound, not mindless humming of a fan. (Judge me, but shut up lol). Soooo if you're looking for a clock radio that will wake you up and tell you what your thermostat already tells you, get this clock radio. If you want a quiet background radio, it's too loud for nighttime. 01 is perfect for daytime, but just too loud for nighttime.

This so called "alarm clock" was a disaster and I'm really surprised to see any positive reviews here about it.It is inconvenient in use and and broke almost immediately after I received it. I do not recommend it and it is WAY OVERPRICED for this cheap plastic product.

I searched through a lot of alarm clocks on Amazon and finally decided on this one based on price and functionality. Two USB ports, so I can use one for charging and maybe one for nightlight. Radio, so I can easily listen to some music without my phone. Thermometer, so I can always know the room temperature. Also the adjustable brightness is excellent. What else can you ask for. However, I didn't test the clock with just batteries power and I don't intend to anyways. The only thing is that this clock is not a pretty one, just plain and mediocre looking, but price and functionality are more important to me.

This might give a better idea of size and this is my set up on my nightstand. The clock has a very small footprint and the basically flat top lets me put my Dot right on top. The photo shows the most dim setting which is exactly what I wanted- no distraction at night but you can change to a much brighter illumination. I have my lightening cord attached to the backside USB port so always available for charge use.

This alarm clock is awesome! My 5 year old was BEGGING for an alarm clock so she could be a “big girl” and get up and ready all by herself. I was having a hard time finding one in the “kids” sections because nothing had any good functional reviews, it was just a character or it was complicated, etc. Not only was this SUPER easy to set up, it has a backup battery and the alarm noise is a really soothing chime with birds chirping. The first morning it went off my daughter told me she woke up to a “beautiful sound”. So cute. If only it would physically get her out of bed and dress her, haha. The dimmer function on the alarm face is nice too, so it’s not 1,000 watt bulb coupled with her nightlight. All around great beginner clock.

I liked everything about the clock until I plugged in a USB cord to charge a phone and the whole clock went dead. I unplugged the cord and the clock came back on as if it was the first time showing 12:00. I tried both ports and the same thing happened each time.The ports must be shorted out or something.Note: they sent a new clock within a week. Great customer service so I changed my rating from 2 stars to 4.
