Zephyr Tactical Shemagh Tactical Desert Scarves

I am very disappointed in this company/product. I ordered 4 of these scarves as gifts for my soldiers as we are currently deployed to the middle east and we are allowed to wear items like this with our uniform. 2 of the scarves were perfectly fine, however 1 that was received was wet and smelled like mold/mildew when it came out of the packaging and 1 smelled like mold/mildew when it was removed from the package but was dry.We washed the one that was wet and smelled like mold in cold water, and when it came out of the washer it was discolored and had a ton of holes in it. I do not recommend purchasing with this company again and I will be seeking another company to find a good quality shemagh so I can make this right for my soldiers.

The Zephyr Tactical Shemagh is a great buy. I have seen a few ones made by other manufacturers but the Zephyr brand is the best one. Zephyr shemaghs are durable and lightweight. I like the way the shemagh covers my neck as a scarf and cover my face during windy dusty days. I cannot wait to test this shemagh during winter when there is a blizzard. I have a few people complain to me about how lightweight and thin the material is. However, I found that the lightweight and thinner material is not abrasive and it does not scrape your neck during long period of use. Heavier cloth tends to sit in your face or neck and accumulate sweat. I like the Zephyr Shemagh because it's breathable and the thinner cloth do not absorb any sweat - it completely dries out. I'm looking forward to winter and see how well the Zephyr shemagh would work in frigid condition. So far, I am completely satisfied with this purchase.

I would prefer to recieve a replacement, but as the one who recieved it for Christmas didn't wish to wait on a replacement and the item was needed. There was no way I could contact the seller through the choices available,so I was unable to resolve this problem or recieve a replacement without returning the item I have. Though it was defective he didn't wish to returning it and wait for one that want broken. The quality was terrible at the edges. Perhaps of the ends were tied in more sections it wouldn't have separated so readily.

I have bought 5 or 6 shemaughs from different companies and this is by far superior to the other ones I purchased. Material is soft but durable. I wear these in the winter as a scarf to protect my neck and head from wind and snow. Will purchase only from this company in the future. Also received a day earlier than guarrented. Pricing was excellent

I gave this as a gift to wear under a motorcycle helmet on cold days. It was as pictured except the gray had a blueish tint. The recipient really liked it except for one thing & it's the large tag/label that says "Zephyr". It's not a hanging tag, but sewn into the scarf so it's impossible to remove & looks like a huge advertisement on the manufacturers part & cheapens the look somewhat, so for this reason, I gave 4 stars.

Pros++Comfortable/Soft material that is perfect for outdoors.+Sustains warmth and heat for cold environments.+Pretty well durable; doesn't rip easily nor left over strings n' such.+Nice color pallet for the Shemagh itself. (I chose Olive/Green).Cons--A bit of a weird smell; but you can just wash/clean it off and it'll be gone in no time.Summary; I absolutely love the scarf, it fits so well and is comfortable at the same time. Only for $10 USD! (W/O Shipping/Tax). For something so durable and lightweight. FWI; I've only got a few head-neck scarfs in the past but this one does take the cake. I'll def. come back if I ever need a replacement haha!

I bought the grey/black version of this scarf and have been very happy with it. It is large, good quality cloth and and looks good. I don't wear it like the pictures show, over the head and face. I just wear it around my neck like a normal scarf when outdoors. I have a big neck and this scarf fits well without feeling as if it is too short. For less then $10 this is a good value for its quality and size. I plan on buying another one.

The construction of the scarf seems to be pretty solid, there are no loose threads or trimmings from other scarves in the bag.I would not describe the color is gray it's more of a steel blue color, still a good shade, and something I will wear, but not the color I was expecting to get. I understand there's some variation in the shading of the threads... So not a huge deal, but enough that it wasn't what I was expecting.
