FIRST REVIEW- (photo 1) early May 2025:After a few uses, (as a ton of people said on here and I wish I’d believed!!!), a brown burn spot starts on the bottom left after a couple months very light usage, and will continue to grow bigger until it obstructs the picture. I want a refund as this is obviously a design flaw rather than a fluke or usage problem, is a potential fire hazard since it’s literally burning through something , and clearly the company knows about it. PLEASE RESPOND TMY!!!2nd Review Mid-May 2025:Adding update: company ignores all outreach. Amazon should have to refund!!!Final Review May 29,2025:ADDING ADDITIONAL UPDATE- Company did reach out and gave me a refund! plus, they sent me the updated model free of charge- which I have to say has a crystal clearer picture, and a better body design for angling on the wall and giving more room around the unit for cooling purposes. It doesn’t get as hot as the previous unit so Im crossing fingers it wont get scorch marks. I am very pleased that TMY company made it right for me- I appreciate it very much. After testing the TMY projector for a few months, I can confidently say it delivers where it counts for a budget projector. The native 1080P resolution makes a noticeable difference - text is readable and images stay sharp up to about 120 inches. While it's not going to compete with a $1,000 projector, the picture quality is surprisingly good for the price.Setup was easier than I expected. The keystone correction works well enough to get a rectangular image even when the projector isn't perfectly aligned, and the zoom gives you some flexibility in placement. The built-in speakers are serviceable for casual viewing, though most people will probably want to connect external speakers eventually.Where this projector really impressed me was with gaming. The low input lag makes it perfectly playable for everything from casual games to competitive shooters. I didn't notice any distracting delay when playing on my PS5. The 240Hz refresh rate is a nice bonus too, making motion look extra smooth.The only real drawbacks are the expected limitations of a budget projector. Black levels could be deeper, and the fan does make some noise (though it's not obnoxious). But considering what you're paying, these are reasonable compromises.If you're looking for an affordable way to get a big screen experience without terrible image quality, this is definitely worth considering.

This is a review of the 4K Projector with WiFi and Bluetooth, TMY Smart Portable Projector with 400 ANSI, Movie Projector for Phone/TV Stick/HDMI/USB/Laptop/DVD/PS5, Mini Projector for Bedroom or Outdoor.I am very impressed by this projector. It’s small, very good looking (I especially like the paster color and the ring around the lens). It’s light, portable, easy to carry and take anywhere. I also found the instruction manual to be well written, or well translated, and actually very clear and useful. That’s’ not always the case, so props to the often under-appreciated authors and/or translators (and to those who found them and kept them employed recognizing their skills and value). The brightness is great; I started playing a video around 7 or 7:30pm in a state just below Canada in late August, when it’s still fairly light (see pictures), and it was pretty visible even then (it obviously got better later on).But that’s only part of what excited me about this particular product. What most excited me was the abilities afforded by the electric focus feature, which is more than just the electric focus. You can also adjust the vertical keystone (basically, the lines along the edge, which will be important if you’re angling the projector in any way), the ease with which you can easily adjust the focus, and the very quick way in which you can adjust the screen size (window zoom) (see picture with settings screen). Because of the ease with which you can focus and adjust and the vertical keystone, I was able to very quickly, using a tripod, place the projector at the foot of my bed and direct it towards a piece of the ceiling above the head of my bed and project there (see picture).I’ve attached pictures of the same moments in the same films in different settings so you can compare; do notice that the subtitles in the subtitled film are clear and that the credits in the black and white film are focused from top to bottom.Sound is good enough depending on the setting, I imagine. You can always add an external speaker if needed, but I found it suited my own needs. You can connect to the projector wirelessly from an Android, Windows, or Apple device. In my own experience, the Apple product I have (an old, old Ipod) works with no problems. The also now somewhat old Samsung Galaxy tablet does not connect as well, and my Dell laptop worked well but at some points the image would freeze. Given that there were no issues with the Ipod, I strongly suspect the issue is not with the projector but with my own devices. And, of course, you can always connect your device via HDMI to the projector. (I only used a laptop; I don’t have a TV, Fire Stick, Roku, nor any streaming services and so cannot speak to any of that.)In short, though, I was impressed and very delighted to have my (often) outdoor viewing experiences enhanced and my indoor bedroom viewing experiences totally transformed, all for the better. This is a great, inexpensive projector, great to use for a tripod rather than a table for greater ease and portability, and just SO versatile and easy to use. Highly recommended.

The set up was SUPER easy, the picture quality is pretty good as well and the electric focus works better than I expected. I also felt the audio quality was decent for the price. I am a little bummed that it wouldn’t mirror my iPhone for apps like Hulu, Disney, Netflix, pretty much everything… I had to go buy a Roku.

I love this projector! The vintage design and gold-green color scheme are so cute it looks great in my space. It’s super compact, easy to set up, and doesn’t take up much room at all. I just used a tripod and it worked perfectly! The electric focus is really convenient and makes adjusting the picture a breeze. Video quality is great, especially for the price, and connecting my devices was quick and easy. Super happy with this purchase!

Great budget projector. Easy to use and no screen necessary. It can also be connected to an external speaker thru a 3.5mm jack.

Had to have warranty replacement first one but was very quick and great communication. Projector works very well with screenshare from Samsung Galaxy phone and also Amazon fire stick.
