Not too happy with the white text on yellow! I think that is a bit of a design blooper, unreadable text, I had to get my jewellery loupe out to read it - be nice if all these supplement creators would think a bit about us old gits, who struggle to read such small text, unless the product is targeted to young people, i.e. 'Mad Diet' does come across as 'hip and trendy', not the obvious thing to call a health company, a bit 'sick innit'... Anyway, each to their own. I like their choice of ingredients. However, these are 1000% of the NRV, so I will take on dull days when I can't get any sun on my skin as I'm not one for megadosing any nutrient regularly (you don't know what imbalances are being produced - just because something is good for you doesn't mean more of it is good for you!), probably 2-3 a week, in the darkest winter. Barcode (Amazon fulfillment) label on reverse has covered the expiry date. I peeled it off to check = BBE May 2026. Always advisable to decant a few weeks worth into a Miron glass jar when buying in these pouches, because, you only have to accidentally leave a pouch open for one day and you have compromised the contents of the pouch via oxidation. I have several spare Miron (violet glass) containers for careful storage of my favourite supplements - you only have to buy them once and they last a long time... the seller/manufacturer can reduce the cost of the product by not spending money on pots and jars. More planet friendly too. Price was £16 at the time of this review.

I use Mad Diet supplements daily and have done for a few years - but have always obtained my D3/K2 from another trusted UK supplier. However, given that these have appeared on Amazon, I thought I'd give them a go. The capsules are small and easy to swallow and leave no aftertaste. They are good value for money and I love that the packaging is easy to dispose of. As soon as the packet is open, as with all supplements, I decant in to a smaller air tight container to maintain strength and purity. Having read Suzanne's book some years ago, it brought to my attention how depleted our soil and foods are of the essential vitamins and minerals that we need to stay healthy. I can honestly say that since I have been taking D3/K2 I no longer suffer with coldsores. I get the tingly sore itch and a small under skin lump that threatens to erupt, but it never does. I don't get colds/viruses like I used to, and during the recent pandemic, I increased my dosage and have never caught covid - my thinking being to increase natural immunity as the preventative measure. Would definitely recommend this product and this brand.

This D3 + K2 supplement by the Mad Diet brand is manufactured in the UK so will have undergone strict regulations and stringent testing which is highly reassuring especially where supplements are concerned. It contains 60 capsules so offers a 2 month supply. It is suitable for vegan and vegetarian diets. I usually take a vitamin D supplement from the months of October through to March just for extra reassurance and to give my Immune System a helping hand through the colder months aka the cold and flu season. The Sunshine vitamin as D3 is often referred to is the one most people are found to be lacking in, especially in Countries like ours where sunshine is a limited occurrence! I read that K2 and D3 combination go hand in hand and the results are much more effective if the two are taken together which is why I chose this product. The product claims high potency and absorbency, it is GM free and sustainably sourced which are all factors I consider when deciding on a supplement. I appreciate the paper packaging is kinder to the environment but to keep the supplements at their freshest and for my own reassurance, I transferred the capsules to a clean and airtight glass jar upon opening.

Nowadays I am getting more fussy about the origins of anything I ingest and when I saw the Mad Diet capsules I must admit that the product is Made in The UK was the main reason for ordering. I have been taking D3 + K2 vitamins for a couple of years now and, typically with dietary supplememts, it can be difficult to assess exactly what, if any, benefit one is getting from them. It's not like 'flicking a switch' as any benefits will hopefully happen over months of taking the vitamin supplement. However, I do not get a great deal of outdoor sunlight and from what I have read from various sources on the internet a deficiency someone like me might have could be Vitamin D - and I know that's it's an important factor for the body's immune system. The capsules arrive in a sealed paper (foil lined) letterbox-friendly pack. The address & website of the Mad Diet company is clearly printed on the packet, along with a "Made In The UK" icon etc. which is good to see. I studied the packet but surprisingly couldn't see any obvious "Best Before Date" or anything related to that - I find that a little unusual and certainly would expect such information to be printed. The capsules are not too large and very easy to swallow, and capsules have long been my favourite form when taking medication or supplements. You get two months supply at the recommended adult dosage and I think that the price of around £16 is quite reasonable for a UK Vegan product.

I always take Vitamin D and this product has the added benefit of K2, but as I am not allowed to state any potential health benefits etc I won't. These come well packaged in a biodegradable packet, which is great, the capsules are a little on larger side, but are easy to swallow and have no after taste. The best thing I like about the Mad Diet products is they appear from all of the reviews, and products descriptions to be 100% natural, just plain and simple what you need. However.... I'm a little confused on the dosing however as there seem too be many contradictions within the reviews and product pages, so until I do some more research I will not be taking these, I am sure they know what they are talking about, but I will research more, So please do your own research into any supplements you might want to take, as I mention above.
