Truly one of a kind! A must read for anyone! When can we get the movie?!
Honestly, I purchased this book after seeing the author was the sister-in-law of a couple fellow classmates. It was so fun to see my hometown mentioned in a book (Ames)! I originally thought, "This seems Sci-Fi. Not my thing... but, why not try something new and support a debut author?!"Well... I'm thrilled that I gave this a chance! I'm telling you, I could not put it down!! It was truly one of the best books I've ever read, and it didn't hurt to be an "easy read" as well. I had just said how there are very rarely original ideas anymore, and then I was blown away with the concept of The Cube and the intriguing puzzle-aspect! I almost always guess the endings of books and movies, and I was happily surprised to be wrong! This book has romance that had me blushing just the right amount, friendships that made me smile, and thrills that kept me on the edge of my seat! Great job, Kelly! I even teared up at your dedication! I hope you keep writing... and I not so secretly hope to see The Cube on the big screen some day!

Crazy ending!
I'm scared for the future of Chicago after zipping through this terrifying look into the future! Give it a read and be prepared to question your closest friends and most snuggly, budding, relationships. Heck! Your devices will even have you looking over your shoulder wondering: who's there?

I am sore from sitting on the edge of my seat - Perfect Debut Novel
In her debut novel, The Cube, Kelly Fumiko Weiss creates a world, in the not to distant future, filled with intrigue, mysteries, and puzzles, led by a diverse and engaging cast of characters. I instantly connected with the five main characters, rooting for the them all at every turn. Following Will's journey through grief and the dangerous chain of events triggered by the Cube made me not want to put the book down. I am almost sore from sitting on the edge of my seat for so long. There is something in this book for everyone: Mystery, Sci-fi, Romance, and more! I can't recommend this highly enough.

Kept me Guessing All the Way
Loved this book. Loved it. The characters were engaging and real, their relationships were deep and honest. I loved the altruistic ideas behind the story and really loved the grain of salt behind it all (can’t say I’m not at least partially with Molly, here) Kelly did an excellent job of revealing clues to keep me turning the page and thinking about the possibilities along the way. This book was definitely a lot of fun!

nice love story with interesting futurism
I liked the story a lot, and the characters. The plot moved well and kept me engaged. And I like a good love story. The futuristic technology seemed relatively plausible and provided some interesting insights into how society relates to tech. Good first novel - I would definitely read more of her work!

Our future could be this - that with each other, we can make this a better place to be.
In The Cube, Kelly Fumiko Weiss sends her readers on an engaging, page-turning lark with this futuristic, optimistic, puzzle-solving adventure. I always enjoy a bit of romance, but also liked that - true to life - the novel demonstrates that with any relationship things can get complicated. A cocktail of good friendships, surprising twists and a romp through the country’s Cube locations in pursuit of solving a mystery - just what I needed to cozy up with on this rainy, windy Saturday.
