In the last 3 sauces the heat is extreme, but if your following the game rules, you only take 10 drops, so most people can take that. I made it to the top, but the last 3 sauces killed me. We had 2 other guys that made it to the top. They did a tie breaker (which I did not do) where each one did a spoonful of #10 Carolina Reaper Sauce. They both survived that too and I don't see how that’s possible. So I guess I'm not a true Chile Head. I saw some reviews from people saying the sauces were not hot, that’s crazy, they are plenty hot. If you are a true Chile Head, like the my 2 friends that played, you might want to bump the amount up to a spoonful for the last 3 sauces. I am sure that will light you up. We both survived it and had a great time doing it! I would definitely recommend this purchase, I’m for sure going to buy this again to take to parties and let others test their limits! Some of the sauce was almost overpowered by the vinegar and a bit too “liquid” to call it a sauce so I think when I get my next kit I will one by one simmer and reduce it to make it thinker. The first real sign of any spice was ... *by M***N on July 8, 2018* Me and the kids made our own hot wing challenge. 2 didn't want to participate as they don't handle heat very well, but after some coaxing they decided to go for it. Nothing happened with anyof the sauces all the way to #6. Even my youngest daughter who feels Whataburger's spicy ketchup is too much to handle, was disappointed. The first real sign of any spice was at #7, but the biggest disappointment came at #9. It tasted fine, but was out of its league in its spot and very anticlimactic.Switching 6 and 9 seemed the better order. #10 was hot, but again, not hot enough for anyone of us to drop out or need anything to drink. I don't want to discourage anyone from buying it as heat is subjective. But all 8 of us playing in ages ranging from 14 to 45 agreed it was just not worth it. Maybe I just got a bad box.
