These are excellent...when they work
I have several items made by HDFury and they are great but for some reason, I went through several of these where HDMI 0 failed. I've had one for years thats not missed a beat and an integral that has been equally reliable but needed one for another projector. It worked great out of the box but within weeks one of the outputs failed (connected device not even recognised), the same happened with the replacement. Tech support from manufacturer was great and informed me there had been some defective units. The third has been working perfectly for months using exactly the same setup so confirms it was the units at fault. If I hadn't had the defective ones, it would have been another 5 star as the units are brilliant but when they are behind av units and a chore to remove, needless to say I was less than impressed by the reliability

Technical Help not forthcoming.
I am afraid that I don't have many good words to say about this device. I am sure it is a top profreshional device, with the possibility of controlling any combination of HDMI signal. The manual was 'on-line', slightly anoying for a costly item. However, I downloaded and flashed the latest firmware, the usb drivers and the Windows GUI 'VERTEX UTILITY', I got this to work on my HP Desktop running Win 10. I was able to produce the 'File' that Vertex required, without which, they would not answer any queries. So easy-peasy, load the GUI onto my Surface Pro, again Win 10, wouldn't work, well it did, but the working screen was about 25mm by 35mm, checked the Web, and other people have the same problem. The reason for needing it on my lap-top was so I could make physical connection with my home cinema equipment with out draging the HP tower downstairs. I e-mailed Vertex twice, the second time to explain my simple needs. To feed it with either 1080p or 2160 signal, and for the device to output both signals or two times 1080p if the input was 1080p. Once again I was told to send a file, or they couldn't help. I am afraid it will have to be returned.
