Little Too Tight
While the fit, they are very snug. If there is burn through, it is gona hurt. Next time I'll find a set which is not so snug but I think I will get leather arm covers instead.

Invest and n Safety so you don’t get hurt
I like that it protects around your hands, I haven’t used it yet as I just opened it, but one of my jobs I work close quarters near an oven that is 500 degrees, and at least twice a week I’m getting bumped into while I’m taking something in or out of the oven and have sustained many burns bc there just is no room to work , if they don’t see me or someone asks them a question they turn and shove me into the oven and I get burned, and last night the fan at the back door is so close that my food scoop hit it and pushed my knuckle into the open oven door and I was burned again, the two other ppl that work in that area also get burned multiple times every week, so we are going to see after the Holiday weekend if these bad boys can prevent further damage. At a fair price I think its worth notgettingburned anymore

If your not wearing them-your not protected!
You aren’t going to be protected if you aren’t wearing them... and luckily I forget that I’m wearing them... I do use an inner sleeve between myself and the material...but they are very flexible and lightweight. They are not thick and bulky like another brand I used previously before... those were replaced instantly!I love how these protect your wrist and back of the hand... but let’s say you done with work and still want to wear them for your unexpected everyday adventures...just pop your thumb out of the slot and it will hide well under a hoodie or light jacket sleeve!

Not actually Kevlar, but good for yard work.
It prevents scratches and punctures. I bought these to cut shrubs in the yard that constantly puncture and scratch my arm. Long sleeves pull up when I stretch up, so the finger hooks on the sleeves are great for keeping the sleeves in place. In addition, the sleeves are very comfortable, not scratchy, and fit both my husband and I very well. Thorns, however, went right through the material. BUT...after reading a review that they are not Kevlar, I looked it up. They are not. They are HPPE (hi performance polyethylene 67%, HTP (plastic), nylon, other. Kevlar melts at 850F, some nylon at 428F, Dyneeme (similar to HPPE) melts at 277F (think about your oven temp.). So they would not work well enough for heat resistance vs DuPont Kevlar.

Not used as intended
I actually love to use these sleeves as an under layer for my wrist braces that have to be worn frequently. I know that's totally not what they for but you cannot beat the wear and tear functionality of these when used almost daily, and it helps my professional quality brace last longer by protecting the inner layers of padding and support from sweat and wear and tear by using the sleeve as an under layer to the brace and then being able to remove it and wash it regularly. I have used these thru multiple surgery recoveries and helping to keep my wrist/arm warm during winter months as well.

Great for the material use, small design flaw
These are GREAT for tig welding, very insulated and breathable! Pay attention to the "thinning" aka elbow area" you will get shocked. As this product does what's its raiting in cut resistance, as I work in a fab shop and deal a lot with sheet steel. Four stars because the hand/thumb reinforced seams have the threads to fall out and unravel, I used a torch to make it more solid, but it's a temporary thing. Great for the price otherwise, do wash before use though.
